I tought of making a post of rides that should be avoided at all costs, well, just the ones you don't really enjoy, please post away. Also post why you don't like the ride(s).

I really don't enjoy "Sounds Dangerous" My family never really got the point of sitting completely in the dark and the headphones not fitting well. Would avoid it, because there are way too many other neat things to spend time on. I would take that time to just sit and enjoy the park and atmosphere.

A ride I think could be updated is Star Wars. I don't really feel the effects did the movie justice, and the technology is outdated.

I also think that Test Track could use some refreshing.

Hope this is interresting. :earseek:

DITTO!! Sounds Dangerous is BORING!

Ever since going on it once, I've avoided Stich's Great Escape. I think it's terrible!!!

We avoid Jungle Cruise, Sounds Dangerous (and mission space, lol-made me sick). Jungle Cruise is yes a classic, but to me and my kids it is very boring. sounds dangerous, pretty much same thing.

It's funny but my husband and kids and I like Living with the Land. Last time we were there kids were 11 and 7 and we even considered doing one of those behind the scenes tours to get more info. I think a big part of our interrest is that we've been to Disney 7 times as a family, and just wanted a little more education. Maybe we're just nerds, but we liked learning about how they grow the food different ways, and supply the restaurants with the foods that are grown there. Have actually rode it a couple times in a day just to look around. :earseek:

Mission Space for me because I get migraines and it set one off! :sad2: Also Primeval Whirl for similar reason, but I think they would be ok if I didn't get sick.

Too many times to list as a kid
Once I “grew” up:
1997 Fort Wilderness (summer); Coronado Springs Christmas
1999 Wilderness Lodge (Spring); Fort Wilderness Christmas/New Years
2002 Polynesian
2003 Caribbean Beach
2005 Going to Port Orleans Riverside
2006 Going to Grand Floridian

what in test track do you think needs refreshing?..just curious :)

I did Sounds Dangerous once, and I don't think I'll do it again. Universe of Energy also didn't really thrill me. Alien Encounter was on the list as well, but now that it's Stitch, I'll probably gove it another chance even though the reviews for it have not sounded that goof. Also, I have never done and avoid Rock N Roller Coaster and Kali River Rapids (not a big fan of coasters with inversions or those water rapids rides).

DW and kids and I love Living with the Land and we have done the Behind the Seeds Tour - it's terrific!

We will definitely avoid the Stitch ride in the MK. We hated it last time. We also skip the Astro orbiter. It is never worth the wait.

We don't make a point of riding Snow White's Scary Adventure too often. Probably because each time we fear that it will be a little too "scary" for the younger ones. I like it though, but not enough to test my kids until they are older.

Wrong board, but the attraction in all of Orlando most to be avoided is the Barney show at Orlando. They drop little leaves, not enough to go around, then they get you wet, then they drop soap flakes on you, then you are trapped until Barney gets to your tot, then they try to sell you stuff.

My DH said, "We have died and gone to Barney h*ll" :scared1:

On the Disney Property Primeval Hurl at AK, in the Blazing Sun was enough to total me for the rest of the day, and part of the following day.

Swiss Family Treehouse
Tiki Room
El Rio De Tiempo
Sounds Dangerous
Indiana Jones Stunt Show
Hall of Presidents (unless you're ready for a nap)

Sounds Dangerous
Jungle Cruise (Almost fell asleep on it last week)
Hall of Presidents
Anything with Stich! (He's Taking over WDW so that's kind of hard to do!)

Body Wars - It is my all time least favorite attraction at any park any where. It combines a herky-jerky simulator ride with disgusting material. The simulator would be enough, the probing of the human body subject matter would be enough, but combined together, it is nausia inspiring.

Primeviel Hurl - It wouldn't have bothered me as a teenager, but I barely held it together as an adult. It wasn't too bad really, but I probably will not ride it again until my son is tall enough to try it.

My wife avoids COP. She remembers it as boring from her childhood, so I can't get her to try it again now.

El Rio Di Tempo is soooo terribly dated and boring, and yet we keep going on it!!!
More for the laughs than anything. Still amazes me that this attraction is at DISNEY WORLD!! I mean, come on, it's awful!

Every time we get in line, it breaks down. Maybe it needs new sponsorship. Toyota? Honda? It needs some Karma from something more dependable than GM.

Timekeeper....I hope that's the name. It has a 360 screen that makes you want to vomit(motion sickness) and you have to stand up for the entire presentation...it's cruel. Anyone agree?
