I just tried Instacart for Publix grocery delivery. They messed up the order and delivery time. They will not leave the order at the front desk so they just cancelled it. 7 days for a refund. Find another service.

we had a great experience with InstaCart and are planning on using them in May, now I'm worried. Will you please share more information regarding what happened.

Turned phone on as we landed and had many calls/messages from Instacart but when I called back there was no answer. Called the customer service number and was told my order was cancelled because they had no access to deliver it. It's a Disney hotel so there's always access. They showed up early and did not attempt to leave it at the front desk as instructed. No alcohol, just groceries. Never again.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. Thanks for the additional information.

Will bell services accept instacart deliveries, they don't just accept from everyone. Also your issue may have been the shopper and not the company. I would press them for additional info, if the call center doesn't provide you with the answer, send an email to the CEO.

Sorry again about your experience. We are typically on the ground in MCO during the shopper’s “store time”to field the texts for substitutions and replacement items. We have also been able to be at the resort to meet them - haven’t needed them to leave the order, which I believe their policies allow. Anyway, it has worked well for us but I would commend to anyone that being available during the shopping period and/or delivery probably will yield the best results.

Anyone know what bell service policies are today? They restricted ECV and stroller drop offs to Disney partners, package delivery with a fee, and who knows what else. Did instacart have your Disney reservation number and did the shopper attempt to drop off at bell services and was turned away or did he just drive by and not know what to do?

...we just had groceries delivered last Sunday 3/4 to the BLT. Ordered everything on Sunday morning, our flight arrived at 10:30PM, groceries were delivered around 7PM (gave them a window from 7-8 tho didn't matter as long as they were delivered before we arrived) to Bell services. Had no issues.

Sorry OP had a bad experience. :(

The OP said he wanted them delivered to the front desk. That may have been the issue, as the front desk never takes grocery deliveries.

The front desk directs all grocery deliveries to Bell Services. They expect deliveries at DVC properties and know how to process them. This was a driver error full of lame excuses. The shopper/driver gets paid by Instacart whether they actually deliver or just make an attempt so they have no interest in parking and bringing groceries in.

As info, I had very good service with Garden Grocer and will use them again next trip. Stay away from Instacart. You do not need that stress on your vacation.

ETA: I have had many Amazon deliveries (not groceries) at DVC resorts for things we needed or forgot. All deliveries were accepted by Bell Services without question and a message was left for us on our phone. We called and they brought it up. Only issue I ever had was with a pizza delivery. They wanted me to come down to the lobby to accept the order, most likely for security reasons.

We have used Garden Grocer in the past and twice have had issues with items picked, missing, and several days to replace missing items. We have use Instacart twice and both times deliveries were as expected but we did have issues using our credits and the driver was sent to the wrong store. We contacted the Instacart call center and got no where. We then contacted the CEO and they have acknowledged that they are having growing pains, they credited our account with the missing credits and are reaching out to Disney to verify their requirements and policies.

Lol. A driver who doesn’t make deliveries more than a couple times isn’t going to have a job for long. IF they get paid but the order is refunded, that’s not something a company will allow for long.
