Avis drop off at Port Canaveral.

Hi all,

We are heading down for a cruise in October and plan to rent a car at Avis and drop it off at Port Canaveral. Has anyone dropped a car at the Avis in Port Canaveral and taken the shuttle to the port? If so how did it work and how much time did you have to allow to get to the port? We are cruising on RCL but they are near the DCL terminal.

Hi.
We used Avis last year and will use them again next year.It took us about 30 min.from driving on the lot untill getting to the terminal.We arrived around 9.30,so pretty early.Can´t say anything about later times.It took a little longer on the return trip.Overall I would say the service was OK:

Thanks for the info Conny. That is just what I needed to know!

5 weeks until we go on vacation without the kids! (We just did 7 nights at WL with them.)

I've used Avis at Port Canaveral several times. Always good service, and clean cars.
