Average number of times you go to WDW now that you own DVC?

We visted WDW annually before DVC now we do a Spring Flower & Garden and a Fall Food & Wine trip.

When we started, we were going once per year for 5 days.

We've progressed. It started with 4 - 5 days once per year. When we purchased DVC, nothing really changed the first year. Since then, we have been going to WDW on spring break, and then taking a two week vacation in the summer (a week at Daytona Beach, followed by 5 - 7 days at Disney). As I can add on more points, we'll eventually spend the Daytona week at Vero.

Prior to DVC, we were going once per year.

Post DVC, I've got 3 trips in the works. Where we would normally go for a week at a time, the DVC trips are turning into shorter 4-6 nighter's to spread it out more.

I go to WDW twice per year. A week in the summer (5 nights on DVC points and 2 nights on cash somewhere else on property) and 6 nights in December (on DVC points). I'm saving for more points so that I can travel for a few days around Easter, but those points won't come for some time yet.

Our pattern is becomming 3 times per year:
2- 8 day trips
1-14 day trip
Generally 2 bedroom units.

We tend to buy Annual Passes every other year, and group our trips that way. That downtime between APs helps build the anticipation for the next round of trips .

When we DO have active tickets we go multiple times per year with at least a two week trip, one or two 5 night trips, and others thrown is a time and vacation allows. We will usually do 25+ to 35+ mights on-site on a active AP. One year between DVC stays and regular resort stays we did 8 trips and 38 nights on-site. And in one case we did Thanksgiving and then drove back the next weekend for Holiday Illuminations !

So I would say our average is 2 to 4 , but more if the time and money are available.

We still only do once a year to Disney. We do have a second family vacation where we go to the Outer Banks. Since we bought in July of 07 we have gone
Dec 07 for 4 nights
Aug 08 for 8 nights
Apr 09 for 5 nights

My oldest son started first grade this year and my wife doesn't believe that we should take him out of school for vacations.
