We're doing the half term fortnight this year - Sat 20th Oct to Sat 3rd Nov. I bought on pretty much the first day of availability back in December last year, and we ended up paying £900pp for 2 adults/2 kids

. Which is quite scary. I've checked back frequently, and I never saw those flights get cheaper. That is MAN-MCO with Virgin.
I'd advise avoiding the half-term Saturdays! I'd already booked the Disney bit a couple of months before (for 30% OKW discount and free dining) so was pretty much tied in.
Just for ref, our breakdown was this:
2 Adults: GBP 672.00 each
2 Children: GBP 504.00 each
Taxes, fees, charges and surcharges:
This includes the government imposed September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per segment. GBP 1,160.36
Credit card fee GBP 52.68
Total: GBP 3,565.04
How much tax!?
