Could be a fixed week or a refurb block out, but otherwise very oddI love when 11 months out date is full, the following day is full, day #3 is open, but day #4 is not. That makes all sorts of sense. Someone magically has booked a room starting at 11 months + 4 days.
It can't be walking. If day #3 is open and day #4 is not at 11 months, something else has to be in play.Possibly walking a very popular, difficult-to-get room. Keep watching, though - they might walk right on past the date(s) you want.

Actually, it can be - along with other things being mentioned, like fixed weeks. I'm not going to try and speculate how walking and fixed weeks would cause it - but it's what you're seeing so it's where the rooms are right now. I'd recommend continuing to monitor - you might have zero luck, or you might see rooms start to open on the backend. If even a single day opens for you that you can get, grab it. If you get a few single nights, you can merge them later. Certainly not ideal, but also not a totally unique situation you're seeing. There are 4 or 5 room types that can be very difficult to get, even at 11 months - low points, not many of that room, etc, can cause this type of frustration. We've seen it too! Hope you get lucky. It can't be walking. If day #3 is open and day #4 is not at 11 months, something else has to be in play.
No, because at precisely 11 months I can book 1 day, 2 days, 3 days up to 7 days. I cannot book day 3 and 4 without also booking days 1 and 2. So if you get this pattern, something else (maintenance, etc. ) has to be in play.It could be walking, people just have a variety of length of stays booked.
I don’t think DVC would take BWV standard view and AKV value and deposit into II.Another possibility is that DVC pulled inventory for trading thru Interval. I don't follow trading closely, but I don't believe that Disney waits until after members have made reservations to submit only the least desirable accommodations. Seems like they'd have to pull a certain amount of inventory before 11 months to make sure that traders have access to some "good" rooms & dates.
There's a thread on TUG where members post sightings of DVC exchanges in II (previously in RCI). Almost all deposits are SSR or OKW 1BR, with the occasional BWV or AKV or other resort thrown in, and a rare 2BR deposit showing up from time to time.Another possibility is that DVC pulled inventory for trading thru Interval.
The II trader doesn't get a choice - they take what DVC deposits, or they don't book. And I doubt that BWV standard or AKV value ever show up. The AKV that do show up are usually Savanna view, presumably because DVC owners are less likely to book them due to the higher points cost than standard view. BWV is P/G view, no Standard or BW view.Seen from a II traders POV why book a BWV standard or AKV value if the cost of booking a pool/garden or savanna view is the same?
Not only are the deposits from among the least desirable room types, they are also generally for within the next 3-5 months, if not sooner. There's a thread on TUG where members post sightings of DVC exchanges in II
You cannot know the view category of a deposit until after the exchange is confirmed and communicated to DVC. II does not know the view category but DVC does.Seen from a II traders POV
Me too. Tried to put in a week, but it wouldn't accept my check out date, kept defaulting to 2 weeks from check in.Maybe a glitch in the matrix...websites been treating me like crap today when I even try to access it
