Availability at the VWL for end of October...

Has anyone checked the availability lately for the VWL for the end of October? Our 7th month window is coming up on Wednesday the 29th and I am curious if it is going to be difficult to get a studio at the VWL. Thanks for any information. Have a wonderful day.

Not a studio, but we just reserved a 2BR for 10/15-10/21 with no problem! Good luck!

We also booked a 2br @ VWL for 10/15-10/20 w/ no problem.

Based on posts over the past couple of years (and our own experience), studios may be a bit harder to get than, say, a 2BR. Simple economics: the points are less so the studios can be in high demand. Still, we've had great luck getting into VWL at the 7-month window. If you don't get one when you call, don't forget that you can go on a waitlist--sometimes things open up at the very last minute. Woohoo--I just made my ressie at the VWL for October and got a studio for 12 nights (Oct. 15-27). Also got a studio for my daughter and family for 5 nights (Oct. 22-27). I was really nervous since the fall is so busy. I wanted to try for the BCV or BWV, but since I needed such a large amount of time, I thought my odds would not be that good.

However, when I made my ressie for April 23-May 5, I called at the 7 month windown end and managed a 12 night stay at the BWV--standard room, and also managed a 5 night stay at the BWV--standard room (for daughter) with no problem. After reading the boards, I realized that I was extremely lucky on that reservation.

I'll be staying there in a one-bedroom at the end of October.
