There are 6 of us (my parents, myself, my 3 kids). We have a 5:30 at Ohana on 3/11. But we recently bought tickets for the P&PP that night. I kind of want to get in the park earlier than the 7pm is that eating at Ohana will allow us to do. I just called and I can get a 4pm at Liberty Tree but they only have tables for two so we'd be at 3 seperate tables.

What do you think? I have never eaten at LTT but have enjoyed Ohana in the past. Is it worth possibly being at 3 seperate tables to ensure being in the park early for the party?

I really don't think it's that big of a deal to be in Ohana. It's not hard. However we really enjoy both places, so I guess it comes down to whether you want to see characters or not. :)

You can still get into the parks at 4 without a reservation, as i am being told. But you won't be able to get in before 4pm, so you may be late for the dining. Not sure how long they will hold your reservation. If you enjoy Ohana, go for it, it will be a short ride back so you can still get in early from your dinner.

I have eaten at Ohana's and LTT and I prefer Ohana's. We actually thought the food was dry and overcooked at LTT..and I am not a picky eater. The atmosphere is fun with the characters but I wouldn't be happy about separate tables...I would go to Ohana's to insure a good meal..:)

Thanks for the input. I did change it to LTT at 4pm. We have park hoppers so no worries if we have to use our regular ticket to get in before 4 and then get our P&PP bracelet after dinner. I just was reading about how at 7pm there can be many day guests trying to get out and I didn't want to be trying to get in at the same time (travelling with Grumpy dad and trying to make this trip as pleasant as possible). I think my parents will like the LTT menu and I will like that once we finish eating we are already in the park for the party. I also had hoped to try and line up early to meet Capt Jack, a priority for us at the party.

So thank you all!

You will enjoy LTT.. we really did... I was so excited to go to O'Hanas for dinner and I was disappointed.... loved their breakfast though!!!

Anytime we have ever had split table ADRs, we have been seated at one table including LTT. I wouldn't worry at 4 pm, because I think that is the first dinner seating. You'll probably be together, if not very close.

The food at the LTT is not the best food (the meat wasn't very good, but the sides were decent, especially the stuffing). But the characters are in great costumes, and they were very playful the night we were there. Also, note that the Liberty Tree Tavern has several different rooms, so you could end up in seperate rooms on your three reservations.

Ohana has better food, and is a lot more fun, but it would be tough to make it to the MK by 7:00 with a 5:30 reservation.
