Am I the only one who is tired of the long automated message that you are forced to listen to when calling MS? I want to be able to just "Option 1" Right through it...
 

Agreed. I think that is just a way to slow you down, to space out the load on the operators. You can snip the time down a little is you push your desired option once they start to give you the options. If you push it too early it will either ignore it or restart...
 
Nah, the one I hate is at my doctor's office. At least with the DVC I know something good and fun will happen later.

I am notoriously guilty of being the victim of a restart. God, I hate the restarts... It generally comes from the frustrated repetative premature pressing of 1 in hopes it will move things along by pressing it 1000 times
 
Yes, I wish they'd change it so you could bypass it. I'm sure you're forced to listen to it so you can hear the message that the member web site is avaialbe for many transactions -- hoping some number of people will hang up and do things themselves.

Now, if the web site really would do everything...
