Autographs the easy way??

Ok, just decided to take a short, 3 day in the parks trip to DW in November. Really want to have autographs, but DH will have a fit if kids try to "waste" time getting them.

On DCL on a past trip, I just dropped off cardstock to Guest Services on the first day and I had autographs waiting for me on the last day. Has anyone done this at WDW???

the fastest way I get autographs is charater dinning. It's not cheap but worth it to me and my time. I hardly wait on autograph lines and complete a book every trip.

here are some places I go
Crystal palace--Pooh, tigger, piglet and Eeyore
Chef Mickeys--mickey, minnie, pluto, chip, dale, goofy or donald
1900 park fare (breakfast)-- alice, madd hatter, tigger (he changes), mary poppins
1900 park fare (dinner) cinderella, prince charming, pedia, suzy and fairy god mother
norway--all different princesses
ohana's-- stitch, lilo

I go to many more but don't have time to list them at the moment.

I've dropped cards off before to be signed. We went for DS10's 9th b'day and we dropped a b'day card off for Mickey to sign. It was ready the next day.
I would make sure that the cards were bagged up with a full list so it will be easy to keep track of.

That's a really smart idea. I wish I would of known that last time. Did you just leave card stock cards with them or what?

YUP!!! Character meals!!!

Character dining is a sure-fire way to get autographs and pictures, but it can get expensive.
You can get Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and I think Pluto, at this new EPCOT thing near the Fountain View. It's usually where they have demos during the Flower & Garden shows. DH and I were there for my birthday last month and just walked by this place, I think it was called "Character Connection." We walked in and there were no lines and no waiting (it was dinner time on a Saturday).
For other characters I usually go to ToonTown and see which lines are shortest. If you go to Mickey's tent close to park closing there are never any lines. We don't have kids yet so it's just me wanting to get pictures with my favorite characters

How do you think I got DH to agree to several Character Meals? That, and getting into the parks early were all that it took. (We got the meal plan, btw, otherwise it would be way too expensive!)

My kids love the character interaction, so just getting the signatures handed to them will not mean much. Will yours be okay with that?

I also recommend character meals. Find the meal that has characters that most delight your kids and go. They will sign autographs and pose for pictures .... lots of fun. I also recommend Toon Town at MK or Camp Minnie-Mickey at AK. Perhaps your hubby could go someplace else that he would prefer to do that perhaps you and the kids aren't interested in while you gather a few autographs. Also, check out the character schedules on the Times Schedules and try to be waiting when they come out so you're first in line. We also found quite a few if we arrived at the parks bright and early and caught them as they were opening. Love those characters!
