autograph question

Can you purchase the autograph books at the resort gift shop at WL. Our first day - we are not going to the parks but have dinner ressies at Chef Mickey. I have read my people buy some before they arrive. This is our 1st trip so I wanted to buy them at disney.

Im sure you can..... we brought ours in Winnie Dixies the night before, as we arrived, just to be sure. as we had brekkie at CM at 7.30am.

You can definately buy them at the WL gift shop. Even if you don't happen to make it to the WL gift shop you can buy them at the gift shop at the CR. The CR gift shop is just behind Chef Mickeys on the same floor and I am 99.9% sure if you still haven't found them yet you can buy them at Chef Mickeys.

I was just wondering - has anyone had any experience with the autograph books from the Disney Store? My aunt bought the princess one with the photo slots for my daughter for our upcoming trip and I am a little unsure about it. I like that it has the slots for pictures on the pages, but the spot under the photos seems small for the characters to sign. I was also unsure about the glossy like paper, I think the signature would smudge (as her name did when written in pen on the inside cover). If anyone has used this book can you offer any tips, especially on what to use for a marker/pen? Thanks alot!

Were they any cheaper than the one on the grounds?

I have not bought autograph books at Winn Dixie, but I have seen some at Target and CVS - these have usually been spiral bound soft cover books rather than the bound hard cover books at Disney. They ones that I have seen off site have been around $3.00 compared to the $6.00 (basic blue) at the parks. The off site books have more of a variety of covers.

Here is a picture of 4 autograph books that DD has (the two bigger books - gold and pink are Photo/autograph books and only hold about 14 pics/autographs) The Tinkerbell book is an example of the ones that I like from the off site stores.
