Autograph book alternatives?

I am bringing my 15 month old to the WORLD in a few weeks. He will not be interested in getting autographs in a book, so I wasn't going to bother with that. Does anyone have an alternative to that, maybe something to frame in his (Pooh!) nursery?

Thanks!

Take pictures of him with different characters and then either make a collage or use 4X6 picture frames to display them. You could concentrate on just Pooh Characters in his room, or you could branch out into other classic characters. I have an AWESOME picture of DS (then 5) with Pooh and Piglet in a Pooh/Christopher Robin frame. It's on my desk at work and it's one of my prized possessions. It was DS's first trip to WDW and he searched EVERYWHERE for Pooh. Finally found him on the 2nd to last day at AK and the look of pure joy on is face his PRICELESS!!!

Tag Fairy--still clappin' and still believin'!! You GOTTA believe!!!

How about a t-shirt in a slightly larger size than he wears now? A few sharpie markers in different colors for the characters to sign the shirt.

My girls used a lightly colored baseball hat last trip and had the characters sign with a sharpie. They are older but this helped keep a hat on the head and limited the fumbling for the books while in line.

You could also just use the book and take a picture of the character and then mat and frame some (or all?) of them for a memory photo.

I was thinking of doing a heavy piece of frabric this year to make into a quilt-type pillow's center square. My DS is a Pooh fanatic too and I thought this would be fun for him since his last autograph book that I got the autographs for him just sits collecting dust. Just remember to bring a clip board or something heavy to put underneath the fabric to allow for the character to sign it.

I made a small "blankie" for my then-toddler. It is cotton on one side (with a Minnie pattern) and fleece on the other. We had the characters autograph the cotton side with a Sharpie pen. We've taken it on two WDW trips (when she was 2 and 3) and got it autographed both times. We're going again in a couple of weeks (she's 4 now) and I'm not sure if we'll take it again or not. In any case, she still has it as a treasured possession, and it's much more useful than an autograph book! It's stood up to lots of washings, too.

My big kids have gotten hats autographed before, and I brought a plain canvas tote bag one year. I brought an embroidery hoop, and just kept moving it around to get the autographs in different spots.

One trip we took quilt squares and got them autographed individually. I intended to sew them into a quilt but have never gotten around to it. The blankie idea worked out much better.

Bumpity-bump-bump-bump!!

Thanks! Any other ideas out there?

If you sew. Which I don't but my mother did something similar to this for my son. Get solid quilt squares signed. Then when you get home combine these together with matching print squares to make a quilt. :earsgirl:

Sorry I didn't see this idea post in an earlier post.
