Author visits the reality of Disney World

Sounds interesting but I get the feeling his 'unathorized look' is going to have a slanderous tone toward disney execs and decisions.

I think I am going to have to get this book! It sounds pretty interesting.

doesnt he work for disney? the name sounds familiar....sounds like an interesting book, but the reality is you either love disney or you hate it...i for one LOVE it!!! and nothing he says will change that.

I'm reading one of his books right now...very interesting even though it's about DL.

I'm looking forward to reading one about WDW! :)

I thought Sept wasn't crowded... or Jan?

His name is familiar to me... his last name is part of the name of my fave car! Koenigsegg CCX.

David Koenig is (or was?) the editor of Mouseplanet - he's not afraid to offer criticism where it's due, but I've not seen any indication of an agenda either way. He's not out to dredge up dirt for no reason, but neither is he a kool-aid drinker.

(BTW - maybe I'm out of the norm, but I'm a "like somewhat", rather than a "love" or a "hate".)

I pre ordered this book months ago from Amazonwhen I first heard about it and it should be arriving at my mail box tomoorw :)

Interesting. I hope he did his research better than Pauline Frommer! ;)

Another good book for Disneyphiles is Neal Gabler's book about Walt Disney himself. It's a little dry at times, with seemingly endless focus on this debt or that debt, but it's a really good book about his life, and includes quite a bit about the building of Disneyland.

Sounds like an interesting book! Maybe I should get it and read it on the way to Disney in 24 days!!! Boy, flying to Disney and reading a book about Disney world at the same time! Think I am a Disney addict???:confused3 NAH!!!!
