Aurora's New Look Debuts at Walt Disney World

They need to do some recasting, that girl does not look like Aurora at all. Not saying she isn't pretty, I just don't think she looks like the character.

I agree with you completely. It isn't that these women aren't beautiful, they've just not been cast into rolls that suit them.

As for the dress - I do like it. I really enjoy the pattern for some reason. And the Epcot Aurora wig looks far, far better than the MK wig.

DeluxePrincess - She DOES look like Stevie Nicks!

At first I thought it was Taylor from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

I like the new look. Pretty!

The dress is okay. The hair and crown look very cheap and not Disney standard. In addition, the actor/actress doesn't look to be Disney standard either. He/She has very manly facial features and hands.

Owwww! Harsh!!!! popcorn::

I like the dress. And I like that they've kept her hair the darker, more "dirty" blonde it is in the movie rather than the bright yellow that it is in the merchandise

The dress is a marked improvement. I still don't think the crown is the right proportion, though.

The cattiness of this thread is crazy- their friends most certainly look at the disboards and twitter. I think it's a bit out of place to call a friend of Aurora's manly looking. I've met that friend before and she's simply wonderful, soft spoken and sweet just like Aurora. This thread is like the lunch room at middle school.

I completely agree and think that every single Aurora that has been shown on this thread is beautiful! I'm shocked at how superficial some people are...and at how some will go to great lengths to justify their own superficiality.

Time to stop this thread from going downhill.

I am reserving final judgement for when we see her in the parks but in the pictures I think the new dress looks like a nightgown.

Here are my pics from today at Epcot. First is off an iphone, rest my actual camera-hope this helps everyone who wants to see more details.

Your pictures are fabulous! I think she looks beautiful and I can't wait to see Aurora's new dress in May!

Absolutely hate the new look! The dress looks nothing like the movie (what is with the pattern all over it?) Very disappointed.

I have two photos with Aurora in the same location and same pose - thought some may like to see a direct comparison... just look past the preggers belly on the red head ;)

I'm liking the new look! It's always been a disappointment that Disney doesn't go all out on the costumes (*ahem* Gaston's terribly fake padded muscles). It's the SOURCE and the last time I had a picture with Aurora, she had what looked like a foam crown ([edit] like the first picture in the post above)! I feel like I've seen better costumes from Halloween stores.

I think that the new dress is way more flattering!
The 1st dress was just way too heavy looking at made even the slimmest friend look much bigger then they was, this new style is more feminine IMO and appears way more girlie and floating when she walks.
It also really sparkles beautifully in the sunlight so I think it's quite beautiful the crown however suits no-one

Thanks for the photos. You look lovely!

Much prefer the original dress. I hate that they're giving the princesses pale colours now (Belle and now Aurora) The stronger colours look much better in photos and in person too
