I was just on the WDW website and saw a picture for Ankershus. It was Aurora in her blue dress. Is this typical at Ankershus? Just wondering because, while I like it better pink, I would love to see her blue dress. Thanks!!!!!

I don't know, because we saw her years ago in her pink dress at Ankershus.

Every time we have gone, she has been in a pink dress. Didn't know she even wore a blue one! lol

The last time Aurora appeared in her blue dress was back in 2003/2004.

Here is a picture from Magic Kingdom you can see the date of the pic:

When we ate breakfast there Sept 2010 she wore her pink dress.

In the movie two of her fairy godmothers fight over what color to make her dress that she's going to meet Prince Phillip in. One wanted it blue. One wanted it pink.

I heard that she doesn't wear her blue dress often because the kids mistake her for Cinderella....

We saw her in Akershus in October 2010 and April 2011, and also at the Princess Meet and Greet in MK in April 2011.
She wore the pink dress all those times.
I agree with a previous poster that she may wear the pink dress because she gets mistaken for Cinderella when she wears the blue one.

Considering I actually heard a guest refer to Chip and Dale as Alvin and the Chipmunk today, what difference does it make if some Philistine from Arkansas confuses Aurora for Cinderella? You either know the difference, or you dont.

Entertainment needs to up its game, a quick viewing of recent pictures from Paris or Tokyo show that the WDW character experience is becoming very stale.

I agree! I'd love to see them mix it up a little. I've always wanted to see her in her blue. Merryweather would be SO pleased you know! I promise I won't call her Cinderella. I think anyone who mistakes her for Cinderella should be taken out back and fed to the alligators!

I would love to see Flora, Fauna an Merriweather. "Sleeping Beauty" is my favorite. "I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream...."

Me too! Me too! :dance3:

I think they should have a Fairy Fantasy Fair. Have our favorite Fairy Godmother, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, the blue Fairy from Pinocchio and Tink's Fairies all out at the same time. I'd have to fly in just for that.

I didn't miss anyone, did I???

Not that I know of, but I want to see characters from "Hercules" and "Robin Hood". Also, I will stand in line for a character nearly every time. Before my trip in 2008, I hadn't been since 1987. I feel like I'm making up for lost time!!!!!

Meg appears randomly at EPCOT for M&G 3 or 4 times a year. She is also in Fantasmic. Robin Hood has been spotted in Fantasmic as well hit or miss, but none of the gang from Sherwood Forest have been seen out for M&G at WDW outside of the marathons for over 18 months.

My dd would love to see her in her blue dress. She doesn't understand why Aurora is in pink when in the movie she's in a blue dress the entire time (unless the fairies are fighting an one turns it pink). It is even BLUE when the prince kisses her!!. The whole "Disney Princess" marketing was genius from a moneymaking standpoint, but it certainly messed with some things.
Plus Aurora's pepto-bismol dress at the parks just gaudy!

Man, I'm gonna have to start running. Someone showed me a photo of them meeting the ENTIRE cast of BATB in the marathon. I started scheming away thinking maybe I'd get in shape to run just far enough to meet them, then drop out. Of course they immediately burst my bubble by informing me they were around the 24 mile marker or some such thing.......

It's because their group princess artwork needs to be color balanced......

I wish they would have her out as Briar Rose.........
