When they started combining princesses for merchandising, the group was very heavily blue, so I think they put Aurora in pink, since technically, her dress could be either.
Our first visit to the park, Aurora was in blue. However, the dress-up Aurora gowns that you could buy were pink. So little girls who dressed up like Aurora could not match her when she was in blue. For our second trip, My DD wore her pink Aurora dress to the CRT breakfast, and was thrilled to find out Aurora matched her that year, as she was now wearing pink, too.
I am just glad that I have pics of Aurora in both pink and blue.
