Aulani

We bought into Aulani as one of the founding members. We got a fedex hang tag on our door today - of course, we were out shopping - that said we've got something (a tapestry and tile) coming from Aulani. Has anyone else received this...and if so, what's it for (why did we get this).

It's the founding members gift....a framed picture and a replica of your Pohaku tile that you designed earlier this year. I haven't received mine yet, but am going to Aulani on the 27th so will get to see our "real" tile in person...woohoo!!

Yes, ours came yesterday. It's impressively big, that's for sure. Very nice looking.

We are founding members and have not recieved anything yet. Maybe on Tuesday.

You might have been too late. When we bought in May they messed up our original contract and when it was finally corrected they told us we were within 20 or so of the last founding members due to the delay.

Now, they also said they were dividing the number of founding members into US and Japanese buyers, and while the US was basically sold out in June, they probably still had room on the Japan side for the tiles. The way it made it sound, the two will be physically on different displays at the resort.

So, did you ever get notified you qualified for the founding member tile? We were told as part of the buying process, and shortly thereafter we got an email which allowed us to design the tile.
