I've been scheming all morning on whether to add 2 or 3 nights to our January trip to Kauai/Maui and stop a Aulani. It doesn't add much to flights since we fly through HNL. Right now our trip starts on a Monday so it seems a shame to waste a good weekend and not go check out the new resort.

I wonder if I would be able to get a studio for Jan 6-9?

It's terrible to let me have free time on my hands because I start vacation planning.

The 2nd phase should be open then, I bet you'll be able to get a room. We are going for 4 nights at the end of September and I called last week. I wanted 7 nights but happy with the 4 on short notice and we will book 3 nights in Waikiki so we can do tourist stuff as we have never been to Hawaii. Our 4 nights at Aulani will be all about checking out what the resort has to offer. We can't wait. Good luck!
