Aulani, What view do you suggest?

We were in a 3rd floor (lobby level) pool view villa and there was some noise from the pool area with the balcony doors open. With them closed, it was silent. :)

Thanks- that makes a pool view a lot more appealing to me!

This is Hawaii - we need the screen doors on the lanai to let the trade winds in and to keep the bugs out. :rotfl2:

We had never been to Hawaii before, and were amazed at how windy it was (12/18-12/25). Also, rain seemed to come from nowhere: blue sky above us, but it would be raining!

If WDW had screens on their doors, we wouldn't have had to call the front desk that time we had a snake in our room :scared1:

You were here during our winter season so the trades tend to be pretty strong. It'd probably be less windy during the summer time. The last couple times that I was at WDW, there was no question about opening the doors - it was more like "Quick, close the door and turn on the AC before I die in this humidity!" ;)
