Aulani, What view do you suggest?

We were in a 3rd floor (lobby level) pool view villa and there was some noise from the pool area with the balcony doors open. With them closed, it was silent.

Thanks- that makes a pool view a lot more appealing to me!

This is Hawaii - we need the screen doors on the lanai to let the trade winds in and to keep the bugs out.

We had never been to Hawaii before, and were amazed at how windy it was (12/18-12/25). Also, rain seemed to come from nowhere: blue sky above us, but it would be raining!

If WDW had screens on their doors, we wouldn't have had to call the front desk that time we had a snake in our room

You were here during our winter season so the trades tend to be pretty strong. It'd probably be less windy during the summer time. The last couple times that I was at WDW, there was no question about opening the doors - it was more like "Quick, close the door and turn on the AC before I die in this humidity!"
