Thought I would post about this here so that my fellow Disboard members could snag the deal too. I was on the phone with Member Services earlier today to alter a reservation at Disney and the Cast Member noticed I had an existing Aulani reservation. She didn't tell me the details, but enthusiastically suggested that I should definitely take a look at all of the offers in Membership Magic TODAY! So, after I got off the phone with her, I checked it out. There is an offer for 7 nights at Aulani, with the DVC member providing points for 5 nights and Disney kicking in the points for the other 2 nights. The offer stated that members who already have an existing reservation could still take advantage of this offer if there was availability to cancel and rebook. I called and checked, and yes, there WAS availability to do this... so now instead of 6 nights for 6 nights of points, we are staying 7 nights for 5 nights of points... 1-bedroom Ocean View. Happy Happy Joy Joy!!!! :dance3:

Here's the link to the Membership Magic page that describes the offer: https://dvc.disney.go.com/members/member-extras/special-offers/aulanioffer. The offer is limited to DVC owners (any resort), but there is no mention of a mandatory sales pitch, etc. Reservations must be made before December 4, and travel must take place between October 19 and December 11, 2014. I suspect they will request time for a presentation, but it is not a requirement to take advantage of the offer. I hope this information can help some of you have even more time in paradise!

I received a mailing about the offer a few weeks ago and noticed it on the member website. Seems like a good deal if you are going to Aulani. :thumbsup2

I got a mailing about this as well not too long ago, the dates just didn't work for us.

wow i got all excited, then i saw the dates :(

we're going in march 2015 so this wont work for us. but thanks for sharing!

We were originally only going to be there for 3 nights to close out our trip. I jumped on it when we received the mailer a few weeks back. Any excuse to stay longer right? Fortunately, my Hawaiian flight was booked with points and we only had to pay $50 per ticket to change. So, it did cost us $100 but we think it's worth it.
