Hi! We are getting super excited about our second trip to Aulani. We went two years ago in August, and we loved it. This time we have chosen to spend part of our Christmas break at Aulani with 17 family members and will be there the week before Christmas.
I'd love to hear from anyone that has been there in December. Is the resort decorated? How is the water temperature? Any whale sightings (we were in Maui in March, and the whales were everywhere--we literally sat on our lanai and watched them)? Any info on the Banzai Pipeline--have you been and how did you know when the competitions were happening? Any other tips or recommendations for us?
We will be doing the Kualoa Jungle Expedition Tour as well as Pearl Harbor. Other than that, we are just planning to relax at the resort and do some driving around and exploring with family members that have never been to Hawaii. Any must do or must sees that anyone has for us would be appreciated!
