I'm sure there must be some DVC Aulani honeymooners out there who can offer some ideas. My son and his new wife will be starting their Hawaiin honeymoon with 2 nights at Aulani. When asked if they were celebrating anything when I made the reservation, of course I said they would be honeymooners. I know DVC often leaves a little something in the room to acknowledge celebrations. Have any of you honeymooners received a special gift? I would like to arrange for some type of in-room celebration gift for them - perhaps fruit and champagne, but I want to be sure I don't duplicate what Disney might leave them. Thanks!

They won't be giving them champagne, you can pretty much BET on that. :sad2: There have been a few threads here from Aulani honeymooners. Check out the trip reports section here on the DVC forums. Often it is a signed card, perhaps a balloon, or similar that might be left in the room. I'm sure someone here that has gone to Aulani as a honeymooner can chime in. Do check out those TR's too. Congrats on your son's nuptials!

I mentioned it was our anniversary, and I wanted to do something for my husband (a CM). Chocolate covered strawberries and a card were delivered to our room when we were out. You should order something like that - it was a big hit and such a nice surprise.

Nothing for my nephew and his new wife although they did get the room request. :)
