We will be visiting Aulani in May, my first ever trip to Hawaii.

We would like to do a few excursions without having to rent a car, and I am looking at the ones listed on the Aulani website.

The two that look like things we would enjoy are one to Pearl Harbor and the circle tour that visits various scenic and historic sites on the island.

Does anyone have any experience with any of these or any other similar tours that might be of interest?

You might get more responses on the Aulani forum.
Thanks, I didn't realize that it had its own forum.
Come on over. While you're sure to get some excursion recommendations, be prepared for a lot of us to try to convince you to rent a car.

Aulani is not, itself, a vacation destination like Walt Disney World is. Aulani is an excellent resort to stay in on your Oahu vacation. The wonderful things to do on Oahu are ALL OVER the island, and most of us feel strongly that it's absolutely necessary to rent a car to get the most out of the experience.

Thanks. I'm open minded but it would take a lot of convincing for me to rent a car.

We only have 4 full days and after the long flights and time changes I know I'm going to be pretty tired. So, a couple of lazy days and a couple of excursions where somebody else does the driving sound pretty appealing to me.

Having been to all four tourist islands in Hawaii a number of times, that sounds good to us, too!
