Aulani --excursion reviews and hawaiian quilts?

Haven't been on the DIS in a long time, but since we're headed to Aulani in February for my , I've been reading all the threads I can find on it! Have a couple of questions I didn't see covered in any other threads:

1-- Has anyone done the Catamaran-Snorkeling-Whale Watching excursion through Adventures by Disney? I'd love to read some reviews...

2--My FIL (also going with us) went ahead and pre-purchased tickets to the Paradise Cove luau through the Disney excursion webpage. Now I find that we could have gotten heavily discounted tickets through the military ITT desk. Anyone know if Disney will refund the luau tickets we bought through them?

3a--I am really hoping to pick up a Hawaiian quilt while I am there. I've loved the designs for so long, and since we finally get to go, I really want that to be my souvenir. Can anyone recommend anywhere to shop for them? Looking online I see ones in the $3000-8000 range and then mass-market ones for $200....isn't there anything in between?

3b--If I can't get one I like for a price I can afford, how much is the one in the Disney rooms? (I DO like it, but wasn't planning for that to be a Disney souvenir, only a Hawaiian one!) I saw someone said it was available to order, but I never saw a price on it.

Noone's done that excursion?

I didn't really expect an answer for the quilt....was hoping, but I know it's kind of a niche thing....

But I'd really like to hear reviews of that excursion if anyone has gone on it!
