FYI-I just received this message below for our upcoming stay at Aulani.

Aloha,

All of us at Disney Vacation Club® are looking forward to "Welcoming you
Home" to our newest resort Aulani, Disney Vacation Club® Villas, Ko
Olina, Hawai'i. Beginning on June 1, you may begin to book reservations
as many as 180 days in advance for Aulani table-service dining, spa
treatments, entertainment programs and onsite recreational activities by
calling Member Services at 800-******** or 407-566-3800.

Please note: excursions will be available for booking at a later date.
Check www.dvcmember.com for the most up to date information.

Mahalo!

Ha! I posted a new thread at the same time you did!

Looks like you beat me to the punch by a few seconds.

We're planning on having Christmas dinner at the TS restaurant (not buffet)...hoping they make it special and Christmas-y!

Sigh. We have an Aulani reservation for mid-Sept but did NOT receive the email. Add to this that our Aulani appears on dvcmembers.com as being booked on "reservation points" (not "vacation points"). MS tells me that the reservation shows up on their side as being on vacation points. Sigh. I really have no trust or love for Disney IT.

Thanks for the heads up. We are also booked early September and didn't get the email.

Did call today and book our character breakfast for our Sept. and Nov. stays.

Can't wait!

The food sounds delicious but it looks like I will be cooking in the villa......a little too pricey to eat all 3 meals onsite.

Food is expensive in Hawaii whether you eat out or in. I wonder if there will be grocery delivery services like I use at WDW. The last time I was in Hawaii was at least 12-15 years ago and my kids were teenagers and I remember buying breakfast foods and sandwich fixings so the kids and I could eat those meals in our hotel room and take a picnic to the beach. We did an economical trip and only ate out once a day. It worked but when we go to Aulani next year I am splurging and only doing breakfast in our room.

Those menu prices, though, are a little crazy high, even for Hawaii. Definitely a resort pricing premium. Roy's in Ko'Olina would be a hop, skip, and jump away from Aulani and is definitely cheaper than those prices and probably would be better food.

I don't think the prices are that inflated. The buffet restaurant for dinner is listed at $43. Isn't Chef Mickeys around $38?

You can find the menues online too.
We cant wait until Feburary, oh, but we dont want summer to go tooooo fast.
:lmao:
