Aulani - children premium activities question

Has anyone one done these premium activities?

SURF'S UP WITH CHIP AND DALE or
FISH ARE FRIENDS

We are considering it I am thinking about these events a little concerned about 4 and 5 year old out on beach between 5:30-8:30 since it will be dark early.

So has anyone done these and would you recommend it?

We did neither but investigated them. I don't believe either are actually on the beach for any length of time. The "Surf's Up" dance party is held in the "backyard" of Aunty's Beach house. And the Fish Feeding is in the Rainbow Reef not the open ocean.

Our DS was 5.5 and had a ball at the kids club every day doing all the "free" activities (he did Stitch's Space Goo 3 times) so we couldn't swallow the $80 price tag for the premium experiences.

My daughter age 9 did all 3 premium experiences. She liked the Chip and Dale surfs up the best. They do not go to the beach at all, they stay in the back yard. Next she liked the Fish are Friends and they stay around the rainbow reef area. I think my daughter was alittle too old for Auntys make believe Magic because they do story telling and dress up in costumes so that might be something more for younger children. All experiences include a meal and some type of goody bag.
