Aulani Character Breakfast?

Do you have to be staying at Aulani to book the character breakfast? We'll be at Marriott's Ko Olina Resort in late April and would love to walk down one morning for that if it's doable. How do you make the reservation?

Aunty's Breakfast Celebration at the Makahiki is open for advance reservations for Resort Guests, with limited availability for non-Resort Guests, based upon occupancy and availability.

I did this breakfast yesterday morning and I know there was a group there that was not staying at the resort.
