Aulani at 7 months

We are starting to plan a trip to Hawaii for next summer. We would like to stay 9-10 nights at Aulani in a 2 bedroom ocean view. Our preference is to go the first Monday in June.

Any thoughts on our chances of getting these dates?

The early June dates do tend to book quickly (before the points/night skyrocket), but if you’re set to go right at 8am EST you should be fine. A 2 bedroom and ocean view are also advantageous as the cheaper rooms/views book first.

I was slightly worried about grabbing our 1 bedroom ocean view for this June after watching the process in 2018, but we were able to get exactly what we wanted. Good luck, but you should be fine!

June is the second highest DVC demand time of the year at Aulani (behind Christmas week) but the earlier the start date in June the better the chances and ocean view, particularly 1BRs and 2BRs, usually last longer than others, and thus you should have a good chance of getting a 2BR ocean view with that June 1 start date, but, as noted above, make sure you are ready to reserve at 8 a.m. eastern at 7 months

I been tracking all resort availability at 7 months. I don't hop on the computer right at 8am (usually after 9am) and for a good chunk of June when i have checked there is nothing. It seems that June is an extremely busy time for Aulani, but if you were to push it off until July or late May you would have a better chance of getting a room. I think the one thing you have going for you is that you want the most expensive room type, so that might work to your advantage. Plan to be on the computer right at 8am and be flexible with your dates.

We own at Aulani and find that at the 7month mark (for high demand times) you need to be online right at the exact time when your booking window opens. Rooms book fast at 7 months. But it all comes down to whats left in inventory and how full the resort is. Ocean views while they cost the most...tend to be popular as this is a resort where the view is important and most people want that ocean view.

Been there twice but it was Presidents week. No issues booking @ 7 months a 1 bedroom ocean view. My one tip would be specific about ocean view you want. You probably want unobstructed ocean view. First time there we requested ocean view & what we got was 95% parking lot & if you turn your head way to the right was the water. Not what I was expecting at all. But front desk did consider that ocean view. We did get moved.

You’ll be fine because you want the most expensive room after GVs.
