Aulani 2013 Expansion Construction

Hey Everyone,

It appears that Aulani is providing compensation for cash guests that have booked up until into March due to continued expansion. Has anyone else heard this?

I checked with Member Services and they advised me that it was their understanding that any construction and expansion activity would be done by December. Any thoughts on this?

My family is booked for Feb and would hate to see a massive impact on services with no compensation.

There are a couple of threads on the subject around here somewhere. December is the date given to others by MS.

If you are concerned, I would postpone the trip.

Our rule is to never stay at anything new. We want all of the kinks worked out and the CM trained especially since everything in Hawaii is more expensive. Aulani is still under construction.

We are going in June and I was told everything but the expansion to the pool area will be done by December and that although that is scheduled. To be completed my mid 2013 they have been moving ahead of schedule
