Anyone been the week of August 23-28th. Just wondering what the crowds will be like.

I have gone the last week in August twice, and have found the crowds to be very managable. I went the third week in August last year, and was overwhelmed by the crowds (I usually travel off season but couldn't because I was travelling with my sister, who is a teacher, and her kids). Another sister went the last week in August last year, and said there were no lines.

I think August is a great time to stay in a home away from home resort. We stayed at OKW in August and we lunched and breaked for most of the afternoon at the resort. So we missed most of the heat and crowds in the parks. Since the parks are open late, theres not urgency to stay all day.

Weve been there that week last year and the year before. We have found minimal crowds and very few long waits. Between EE, FPs, and planning, our longest waits over those 2 trips were probably about 20 minutes, for maybe 2 rides.
