We are going in August to Sea world

Do they still have the nighttime shamu show with fireworks?

Was thinking day of arrival
plane, car service, get to the renassance hotel across the street, and wander over to sea world for a 1\2 day and goal being to see the shamu night show

Next day get up and do the rest of the park..

Just watned to know if they even still offer a fireworlks night time show with shamu
Its going to be a Sat night if that matters

Details of the Summer Nights promotion haven't officially been announced for 2011, however, judging by the park's calendar of operation, it looks like the Summer Nights promotion will begin Sat. June 25 and end Sun. Aug. 14, 2011. This is when the park is open from 9am to 10pm. My assumption is that the nighttime shows will end on Aug. 14. After that the park closes at 8pm for one week, then 7pm the following week.

I'll possibly be visiting that week also, and it's a little surprising to me that they start closing so early in mid August. I know that southern schools start early, but I thought there would be enough visitors from the north and other areas to keep the Summer Nights event running until Labor Day weekend. Being from the north, I guess I'm used to summer schedules lasting through Labor Day.
