august trip

1st trip for us!! We are coming Aug. 28-Sept. 4th and staying at CSR. Hoping we didn't make a mistake by picking this week as it will be HOT but hoping the crowds won't be really bad!! We are newbies so any info would be greatly appreciated. :)

We'll be there the 24th to the 31st, staying at the Poly for the first time.:cool1: :cool1:
Can't wait....I neeeeed this vacation. Hope the crowds aren't too bad. Jane

We'll be there from August 19th - August 30th, staying at All-Star Music this time because Pop Century, our favorite resort, was booked solid. :sad2: We'll have our LGMHs on, don't be afraid to say hi!

Just kidding about having the place all to yourself. We will be there 8/24-9/1. Not kidding about meal reservations. We had ours booked back in April. Got the places we wanted but times are not exactly what we would like. Had to pick some early and some late times in order to get the places we wanted. Tried to make a change a couple of weeks ago and couldn't, every place we tried was booked.

Also driving down, also from Jersey, staying AsMu 24-29 August! Our first time going that particular week, first time with Free Dining, and first time driving 18 hrs with two small kids (hopefully not last, lol):thumbsup2

Its my first trip EVER to WDW. Im there from Aug 30th - Sep 13th. I do hope the crowds wont be bad. We are not even hitting any parks until the day after labour day. Will it die down a bit after Labour day? It might sound silly but I really want to avoid the serious crowds because the heat and the crowds with make my mum VERY ANGRY (think hulk).

DBF and I will be there 8/23 - 8/29 at CSR. His first time to disney, doesn't understand why I need to plan everything. :rotfl2: Wish me luck !!!

We are going. I am super freaking out about hurricanes, no joke. Every time I see a hurricane or tropical storm, I think this is going to be a BAD season, and not to get my hopes up to actually go to Disney next month. :sad2: I am hoping I am just being SUPER paranoid, though!

Must be Jersey Week II that week. We'll be there 8/23 - 9/3 splitting our stay between 3 resorts (not my choice :headache: ) BCV, CSR and OKW. Although, I'd change resorts every day just to be in WDW. ;)

:thumbsup2 First we are staying at of site time share, Liki Tiki, it is fine for us, we don't use the water park but want a quiet place and it has always been okay, then to POP 8/24 , a little nervous about the hot hot comment, but what else to expect in August, :confused3 , we will just take breaks, and go back in the eve when it is cooler, no matter what , it is still Disney!

We will be there from Aug 17 - 31st.
Crowds, smowds. Who cares. It will be fun!

Since this thread is just titled August trip is anyone going the second to last week in August? We'll be going the 17th through the 23rd. Anyone have an opinion on the crowds? I was thinking that more people may choose to go the last week because that's when the free dining plan is. Any thoughts?

I'm going the 14th to 21st to avoid the free dining crowds. No offense to all of you who go free dining, but I want to be out of there before you get there! LOL

Jersey girl arriving with our grand gathering on Aug 24 thru Aug 30 and will be staying at the PoP!! Jersey people know a good thing when they see it!! Free dining is a very good :goodvibes thing!!!
