I know it's still early, but I'm already a little frustrated this week. Usually at this point I've lost about a quarter of a pound, and so far nothingI've been eating the right things and exercising at LEAST 30 minutes a day since Friday, but nothing is happening! I'm way too impatient for ths slow nonsense.
I am not giving up though. I actually have an exercise "date" this afternoon, and I'm going to sit down and take a look at my food- that's been the biggest change since I've been back from Virginia. I can tell I'm hungry a lot more often than I was before I went. But I am keeping my water and fruit/veggie intake high, and keeping my workouts up too. Maybe if I'd stay OFF the scale, I'll see something more encouraging next time I get ON it!
If you've been exercising that much and eating right - it will happen! Stick with it!
I DID IT! For the first time in over 3 weeks, I just walked for a half hour at an ok pace (still not up to my old pace, but not bad!) Yay! I'm so motivated right now. I'm also going to try a relatively carb-free week this week. I'm not supposed to eat wheat anyway and no one is supposed to eat sugar, so here's my plan:
- still eat oatmeal in the morning with egg whites on the side (LOVE this breakfast)
- continue to eat fruits and veggies
- but make all other meals from lean protein and low fat dairy (no carbs at all)
I know being nearly totally carb-free is not a good long term plan but I need a kick start right now to get be back on track.
What do you think??
