I know it's still early, but I'm already a little frustrated this week. Usually at this point I've lost about a quarter of a pound, and so far nothingI've been eating the right things and exercising at LEAST 30 minutes a day since Friday, but nothing is happening! I'm way too impatient for ths slow nonsense.
I am not giving up though. I actually have an exercise "date" this afternoon, and I'm going to sit down and take a look at my food- that's been the biggest change since I've been back from Virginia. I can tell I'm hungry a lot more often than I was before I went. But I am keeping my water and fruit/veggie intake high, and keeping my workouts up too. Maybe if I'd stay OFF the scale, I'll see something more encouraging next time I get ON it!
If you've been exercising that much and eating right - it will happen! Stick with it!
I DID IT! For the first time in over 3 weeks, I just walked for a half hour at an ok pace (still not up to my old pace, but not bad!) Yay! I'm so motivated right now. I'm also going to try a relatively carb-free week this week. I'm not supposed to eat wheat anyway and no one is supposed to eat sugar, so here's my plan:
- still eat oatmeal in the morning with egg whites on the side (LOVE this breakfast)
- continue to eat fruits and veggies
- but make all other meals from lean protein and low fat dairy (no carbs at all)
I know being nearly totally carb-free is not a good long term plan but I need a kick start right now to get be back on track.
What do you think??

The hardest part is finding a diet that doesnt cost a fortune. Its expensive to eat healthy.

Got out early and walked this morning. I can't believe I'm going to be in WDW in one week!!! I'm watching what I'm eating but realize at this point my main goal should be to gain stamina for the trip. I just want to be able to walk the MK until 2:00 AM and not have my legs buzzing!! I decided to cut out all snacks this week and limit my portions at meals. When I get back from WDW I'm going to pull out my old Weight Watcher's diet that I was on 18 years ago! The point system hasn't worked for me so in an effort to be successful and save money, I'm going to try to implement the old diet myself.

Got a call from my boss's boss's boss who wants me to meet with her boss on Thursday.
You've been going at a steadier, quicker pace (so impressive) so I bet you could get those 6.5 lbs gone by your trip!! Good luck with that too!

Just goes to show how much I DIDN'T know when I started on these boards! Did anyone else notice? I feel sort of foolish! But I'm not changing it now!!
