I am looking to go to Orlando during the August school holidays next year and have come across this holiday finder which others should also find useful.

You can compare prices from Virgin, Thomson, Thomas Cook, Cosmos and British Airways to see what dates are the cheapest.

What hotel is better Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wildnerness Lodge or Saratoga? as all are coming up reasonably priced for August next year.

Always took me ages before checking different dates and holiday companies so its great to see it all in one place.

All good resorts. I depends what you are personally looking for. We enjoyed AKL but it would have to be a Savannah view for us. Looked around WL and it's another great resort. SSR I wasn't over impressed with but others on here love it so you need to do some research.

I would look at booking flights & hotels separate rather than using a tour op. Prices I saw on that site started at around £1,200pp for 2 weeks but it was in a £20/nt hotel.

Out of those 3 you mention, Wilderness Lodge is far and away my favourite. Animal Kingdom Lodge is good too but can feel like you're further away from the parks (it didn't bother us but I know some don't like it). We own at Saratoga Springs but, out of the 3, it is my least favourite. We are staying there again in August, though, to give it another chance and, since we aren't doing the parks, it will be nice to be so close to DTD.

We are going back to Disney for the last 2 weeks of august 2016 at OKW. I found the prices for next year (i dont know why) alot cheaper if flights and hotel were booked separately, rather than as a package deal. We last went to Disney in February and although we stayed off property it worked out to be cheaper as a package deal but i have found that's defiantly not the case this time round.

^ it is rarely the case that packages are cheaper. Not never the case, but rarely. I also find as a rule, the more upscale you go (deluxe hotels, PE or UC plane seats) the better the savings booking independently. Budget hotels don't tend to alter much package or self booking.
