August Room Discounts?

I am planning a trip at the end of August. Does anyone know when Disney normally starts offering room/package discounts?

Aren’t they out? We booked end of July with a very nice discount.

Discounts don't seem to go past July. Just wondering when August discounts usually drop.

There were 2 discounts that included August that were released at the beginning of January. There was a package discount that you had to book by February 15th. A room discount that originally included dates to October 4th changed to end July 29th also around February 15th. There is a free dining package out that Disney Visa card holders have exclusive access to until March 11th. This is expected to open to the public after that. It is also possible another room discount could be released at the same time. Discount threads are listed in the Resort Discounts subforum.

Usually later this month they will announce the next range of discounts through just before Christmas.

Since it is normally on a Tuesday that they announce new discounts check near March 24th, but my vote is it will be on March 31.

Sorry Dave, I think your dates are too late. Discounts have been released on Thursday’s more than any other day for the last few years. Last year free dining for Disney Visa was released March 20, went to public offering March 27th, both were Thursday’s. Other room discounts were released in the day free dining went public. This year, free dining was released March 5th for Disney Visa early access to March 11th. It is expected to go public this Thursday. Anyone looking for the next round should at least check this Thursday. Easy to check past dates on Mousesavers.

Are we thinking they may release AP discounts for August (and later) later this month as well? I booked the AP discount they currently have for a trip in July but we have a cruise late August and would love to stay both before and after the cruise--would definitely renew my AP for that.
