August planners, lets plan together!

I assume pretty much everyone is aware of it, but the August hours are now up for all parks except AK.
(I can only assume that AK will be posted soon.)

OK, now that August is more or less posted, I think I have an itinerary!!!

What do you think??

Disney 2009 ADRs

day date ADR
Weds Aug. 5 Kona Cafe
Thursday Aug. 6 1900 Park Fare
Friday Aug. 7 Yak & Yetti Late lunch??)
Saturday Aug. 8 Sci Fi Late lunch??)
Sunday Aug. 9 Coral Reef
Monday Aug. 10 Raglan Rd,
Aukerhaus breakfast**(3)
Tuesday Aug. 11 Le Cellier
Weds Aug. 12

** On Monday Aug 10, I'm hoping to get the guys the SteamEngine tour at the MK as a Fathers Day/ Birthday gift. It starts pretty early in the morning. So I'll make breakfast ADRS for the girls and me at Aukerhaus and pay out of pocket.

Ok just was surprised with a trip in late august last night! Already planning like mad! We are going Aug 18th - 25th. Booked Music today and when I went in just an hour later to check for availability for my brother in law, Music was full??? Hoping we can co-ordinate something to get staying at the same resort....will likely call in and rebook over the phone....I am just happy that I have a booking.

I am assuming that Wishes will be everynight at close in August?

If so, we are going to make ADRs for the following.
Aug 18th - Dinner at Ohana's
Aug 19th - Dinner at Boma's
Aug 20th - Dinner at Teppan Edo
Aug 21st - Dinner at Boma's again
Aug 22nd - TBD - maybe Narcoosee's
Aug 23rd - SCI - FI lunch and no dinner plans - wing it
Aug 24th - TBD - San Angel possibly?
Aug 25th - Chef Mickeys breakie or Boma's breakie

Can ADR's still be made 90 days +10?

Do Signatures still eat up 2 dinner credits?

Thanks all for the place to plan!

Sorry what is 90 + 10? does that mean that anyone can make their ADR's at 80 days??? Sorry just dont know that that is
Thanks for anyone explaining it

I think it means if you are staying onsite you can book your ADRs 90 days out for up to 10 days of your stay.

Example - Arriving June 15 - 90 day is April 15th
Call 90 days prior to June 15th and I can book June 15th - 25th of my stay.

Instead of having to call on April 15th for June 15th, April 16th for June 16th, etc.

You can book your ADR's 90 days before your first night at Disney and up to the next 10 days as well, as long as you have 1 reservation. When do you go? My trip begins Aug 9 so May 11 is my 90 day mark. I am staying 1 week so on the 11th I can book all of my ADR's.

Here we go!

Aug 9: arrive around 1 pm? (Driving) settle in and go to MK?
Aug 10: DHS for emh morning, Hoop De Doo for 5:15 dinner
Aug 11: MK for emh morning, Crystal Palace for latest breakfast sitting, stay for Spectro/Wishes
Aug 12: AK or Sleep in and wing it! 1900 Park Fare for dinner 6:30
Aug 13: Sleep in, DHS around noon, Mama Melrose Fantasmic package
Aug 14: EPCOT, LeCellier 6:30 dinner
Aug 15: AK emh, Ohana dinner, 6:30

Yeah I didn't see it on the new calendar, I guess you just assume it's at closing. Some one posted times for AK and dates for Spectro etc on my PTR they got from a TA and that was very helpful. There's a link in my signature :)

I can't find the August hours posted anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction. :confused3

Thanks!

I pulled them off the actual wdw website, if you go to the pages of the individual parks then look on the left side of the page they have a calendar link posted, then scroll down to August and hit go.

I believe there is also a link on the first page of this thread that has them, atleast there was one earlier.

Quick check of my ADR's before I book this weekend. How does this look?

8/15 1900 Park Fare
Question: What time should I book this so I can see Wishes/Water Pagent from the beach?
8/16 Tusker House 8am
8/17 Crystal Palace 8 am
8/18 Tutto Italia
What time should I book to get out in time for Illuminations?
8/19 Prime Time 50's Cafe thinking around 5:30/6 pm
8/20 Chef Mickey's 8 am

I just saw on the Unofficial Guide to Disneyworld website that the crowd levels were predicted now at a 6. :cool1:We are going 8/3 - 8/13 and originally it was mostly 8's with a few 7's.

I hope that prediction holds true.:yay:

:upsidedowWe're going Aug 24- 30! We've done August before and love that crazy heat! But better we love those low crowds! I just booked our package and it'll be our first free dining experience! I am over the moon excited!!
Next step: car rental!:rotfl:

Wow! That's great news. I'll be there a couple of days after you. Hopefully those crowds stay low!

I am just wondering how everybody is scheduling DHS. My only choices are EMH or Fantasmic Days. Originally, I had planned to go on a Tuesday with a Fantasmic night. After reading the Fantasmic Fiasco thread, I'm not too sure about going then. :confused3

Also, I want to start brainstoriming on how to beat the heat. Was there a thread not too long ago with some strategies on how to stay cool at the parks? I thought I remembered one, but I can't seem to find it.

Wow, that covers the dates my sister and I will be there with our families.:cool1::cool1:
