I just received my August Member Clubhouse newsletter.

I have a question for everyone. Usually it has your guide's name where it says "Your Guide Is..." This time it had Tinkerbell for us. Do the rest of you have your guide name there? If so, I guess ours is gone. I'll have to go and request a new guide.

Our guide said Tinker Bell, also! Normally, it says Patti Douglas. Does anyone know what this is meaning? Guess I gotta give them a call.

Mine says Tink, too. Maybe a glitch in the database? also at the very top it says "To ensure you receive your e-mail from Disney Vacation Club, please add disneyvacationclub@xxx.xxxx.com to your address book now." ** actual address not shown **

Has it always said that, or is this something new? And why would having an address in my address book make any difference?

Our guide is Julie Hughes and it says Tinkerbell. Blame it on bad programming.

My guess is someone put that in as a test and forget to take it out. Unless it's Deliberately Disney....

My guess is to save money Disney has replaced all Guides with fairy tale creatures. I hope mine is Chip or Dale.

Many ISP's are filtering spam mail. If you have an address in your address book, they will not filter it. I'm on AOL and I periodically check my spam folder. I've had real mail I was waiting for in there, like online order confirmations.

My e-mail had my guide, Susie Farnsworth.

Our guide is listed as Tinkerbell, also.

Our real guide, Celeste Chaffaut, called us Tuesday to tell us our BWV points had come through (we were on the waitlist for 50 more), so I'm thinking/hoping this is a glitch. Celeste is great! We're very happy with her.
