Any idea when we might see park hours for August? I have been trying to do some planning and August doesn't seem that far away to me.

My apologies to anyone who took the time to read the post before I put the question marks in. I hope I didn't ruin your day.

It would be very helpful if folks would use the question mark Message Icon when posting a question. For example, many people (including me!) want to know when the August park hours will be released. When you see a post titled "August Hours' with no question mark, you might think that someone knows the hours and is posting them, rather than asking a question about them.

Would it make sense to require the use of the Message Icons for new posts only, so that a question would (hopefully) but identified as such? I know that the smiley faces, lightbulbs, etc. don't really tell you much about a post, but the question mark serves a very useful purpose.

Does anyone agree, or am I just nuts?

MaryAnn,

Wow -- I hope that you didn't update your post with 2 dozen question marks because you took offense at what I posted! I definitely wasn't intending to hurt anyone's feelings.

I think using (one) question mark is not only helpful for people reading the posts, but will actually help the poster get the answer they are seeking. For example, if someone titles their post "Good place to view MK fireworks" I would assume they are posting about a good place they found to view the fireworks, and since I already have my favorite places I would probably not bother to read the post. However, if they title their post "Good place to view MK fireworks?" then I would assume they are looking for advice on where to see the fireworks and I would be much more likely to read the post and then offer some suggestions.

Anyway, I'm not looking to start a crusade here, it was just a thought. I'll shut-up now!
