August hours 9:00 pm close?

In looking at park hours released so far it seems all parks are closing at 9 pm. Looks like in years past closing time was later. Any chance the hours will be extended? (Not emh) If so when does that typically happen? The specific dates I'm looking at are Aug 5-11

In my opinion, there’s a reasonably high chance hours will be extended, particularly at MK (less so at the other parks). What Disney posts that far out now is sort of the ‘bare bones’ schedule to some extent.

They can change hours at any time, but generally speaking they’ve been doing a more or less material hours update for the month in question around the second week of the month prior. For example, they just did a bigger March hours update this past Friday. So for August, that’d be early July. But patterns/trends in updating hours can change, so just keep an eye out.

MK is likely to extend.
Epcot MIGHT extend.
HS and AK are likely not to extend at night but may in the morning.
Generally you'll see updated outs 3-6 weeks prior.

It is way too early for August hours to be set; they just updated March hours the other day.

Epcot almost always closes at 9:00 except during Christmas.

In our experience over the past 14ish years, MK is very likely to extend, and the others less so. However, we've not infrequently seen increases in DHS hours and AK hours (even notwithstanding the Pandora and TSL openings). Epcot is by far least likely to see an increase in our experience in August. Generally they solidify more in the last 6wks or so -- but sometimes hours have been added right as we're leaving on our trip though.

That was the week of our visit from 2018 - I made a screenshot from last year's planning spreadsheet and here were the hours... Monday is not there as that was the day we went to Discovery Cove.

Lots of morning EMH at HS due to the recent opening of Toy Story Land...

Oh yeah good point - I made note of the morning hours but yeah you're definitely right, the same goes for evening.

Epcot almost always closes at 9:00 except during Christmas.

And weekends for Food & Wine.

Definitely a 9:00 PM close in Epcot for OP's dates.
