August Bank holiday

I imagine its pretty bad...although it may not be a BH in France...so the weekday might not be as bad as the weekend...

It is pretty bad, although a lot of it depends on the weather. People who live around and have an AP that gives access that day, won't come if it's raining. But all summer long will be pretty busy!

We were there August Bank Holiday weekend in 2005. Saturday was very busy as it was a pin trading event and also Sunday as it was the last day of the summer season, fireworks etc. On Bank Holiday Monday the park seemed deserted compared to the previous two days!! :rotfl:

However, this year the summer season carries on until the end of August so that may well make a difference to the Monday, Tuesday etc.

In 2006 we went two weeks earlier (middle of August) and it was even busier but we still managed to get everything done without queueing for ridiculous times (I consider a queue more than 20 minutes far too long :rotfl: ) so don't let the thought of crowds put you off. I found the crowds over Christmas much harder to cope with as everyone crowds into the shops to keep warm and being served takes forever as people have to remove gloves to pay for things whereas in the summer people just spread out all over the parks.
