August 8, 2010 double dip!

Obviously I'm not using the "quote" features properly...please help!

Thx

Yes, they should be able to get you the PC food in AP, especially if you are polite about it...we have gotten Lumiere/Triton food many times elsewhere, especially the appetizers...

As for rotation, we also requested the double Triton...but you find out for sure when you get on the ship, and for first timers, rotation should not matter...just enjoy the experience...

Lisa will have to post the Navigator links though I think you can find them on the Disney Cruise Line main page on this site...

As to Nassau, there really is very little to see or do and the shopping is mediocre at best....Atlantis is very over-priced, though for those of us who have tons of water park access in Florida, we may be a bit biased on this one..that said, there will be plenty to do on the ship and many people, far more than any other port, will stay on the ship...

The other thing to note in Nassau, or any port, is that you can leave your child in the kids' programs and leave the ship without him/her/them...we have done that many times as our son has frequently preferred and requested to be left behind b/c he would rather be with the programs...they really are that good...

Thanks for the restaurant info, Chuck. My DH and I aren't first timers, but our DD is, so definitely don't want her to miss the AP show.

We're with you - staying on the ship at Nassau :thumbsup2 That would be my recommendation to mkgirl & her family as well.

mkgirl, You guys will have a great time and we hope you join the FE list!!!

Emily

I'm going to try to talk my DH into participating in the FE! I think it sounds like fun so keep your fingers crossed that he will agree!

mkgirl,

Were you able to talk DH into participating in the FE??

Got our cruise docs in the mail today - we are getting close!!!!

Hello everyone. Is there still room to join the FE group? If so we are in cabins 5024 and 5022. We will be 2 adults and 2 children in each cabin. We have a girl age 12, boy age 9, boy age 7 and girl age 4.

We are so excited for a Wonderful cruise!

I would say there is time, though I am not the one running the link, but I am sure you will be welcome...

Chuck:cool1:

And oddly enough if I am not mistaken, I believe those are two secret porthole rooms...we had the 3rd on that row originally before we switched when Florida resident rates came out...

:welcome: I have plenty of FE gifts. We are across the ship from you in 5524 (Thanks again Chuck! :thumbsup2) and we have a 2 1/2 DD.

We received our cruise docs yesterday too. Thank goodness! I was worried they would arrive on a Friday when my DH is home. Since this is a surprise for him for our anniversary, I was wondering how I would explain that thick envelope from DCL!

We are doing Potty Training boot camp  with DD this weekend. Please wish us luck, I think we'll need it. I'm really hoping she does good so she can go in the Mickey pool on this cruise.

Thank you so much for adding us to the FE list:goodvibes:cool1:

This will be a blast. This will be a nice suprise for everyone. Good luck with the potty training boot camp! I need to go check my mail. We have been away so I am now wondering if my documents are in the mailbox!!!

Hello,

This is our first time doing FE's and have some questions! What days do we deliver the gifts and do we deliver one everyday to everyone?

Maru :)

Candidly, unless someone cares to assign days, it can be any day or more than one day..we often stock up from oriental trading, which is inexpensive, and make multiple trips...other people put stuff in a bag and deliver at one time...personal preference really...we find walking the ship on deliveries to be good exercise...

Thanks for your reply! Sounds like it will be a lot of fun and I can't wait to try it! :goodvibes

YES! Well, maybe... how fast are you? LOL Seriously, I am looking forward to doing this...which day are you thinking?

Fast enough to run and not walk, but not as fast as you (I see you are running a half marathon in your signature!??!)! I am actually thinking of both days......but not sure.........I may do it the first CC day, then decide to just keep hitting the gym instead!

1 more month everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not that fast especially if humid, usually 10:45 miles. Would love to run both days. Need to burn off some of all the food I'll be eating! Besides, the treadmill is so BORING!!!

I live in Florida, but I run outside at 6:30am, so the humidity isn't a problem, and actually, I have never run on a treadmill! I run about an 11 min mile so far, so we are pretty close....except I haven't run more than 3 miles! My indoor weapon is an elliptical, but I can't wait to see the gym on the ship - I think it will be so neat to exercise looking at the sea!

The 2nd CC day is the day after our Palo dinner, so I will definitely need to do something. I vow not to go crazy on the cruise - it's not worth it to gain weight, so I will definitely be hitting the gym in the mornings!
