August 8, 2010 double dip!

do we have a "meeting place" for us to try to get together and meet??

For the meet, Chuck suggested Deck 10 Starboard midship overlooking the stage where the Sailaway party is to take place about 4pm (right after the mandatory equipment drill)...starboard is the side that overlooks the pier...

Hi!

I can't seem to access the FE list. I get the following error message:"Oops... there's nothing to see here. Either you do not have access to these photos, or they don't exist at this web address. Please contact the owner directly to gain access." Anyone else having the same proble?

You have to use the very last "click here" in the thread - currently post #168. She is not updating the same page, it's always a new link.

Thanks Chuck!

We did get a bunch of stuff from oriental trading! Not sure how to identify ourselves on some of the stuff.. but I'll see what I can do! We'll plan to meet up with you guys after the drill!!

So looking forward to this vacation - It has been way too long and I need a break!!!

less than 3 weeks - YAY!

Less than 3 weeks away. Can't wait! I actually got all my goodies at Target and Michael's.

If you are putting items in a bag, we usually use self-stick gift tags and put our Dis names and first names. I've made little boxes this time to hold the kid FEs so I'm just going to print out a small DCL design with our DIS and first names. I put about 20 on a page and then just print it, cut them out and put them in the box.

We have our items in Disney lunch bags, and my husband designed a label to "seal" the bag with. It has our our name, as well as DIS screen names. I cannot believe it - only 18 days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana::banana::banana::banana:

I also can't wait to re-book on board and get another ticker to start another cruise countdown!!! :woohoo:

2 more weeks!!! We can't wait!! Our FE gifts are all assembled and ready to go! I even made my own FE!!

Looking forward to meeting you at our Meet & Greet!!

All I can say is that if you are flying from Charlotte, please be leaving a day early...I have flown from Charlotte 3 times in the past couple weeks (twice on transfers and the 4th leg was destination by car), but only left close to on time one of the 3.....

OK, so trip almost here...looks like the FE's are about to be a wrap...and people will be heading towards Orlando or the port starting this weekend...I will have laptop access at convention in Tampa next week so will be checking thread as late as Saturday the 7th....

At port I will be landmark as always due to my height...will probably have Dis-green shirt on from prior cruise, and for those interested in Dis-meet I will be deck 10 starboard (overlooking the pier) mid-ship after the mandatory drill looking down on the stage...

If there are any other questions, feel free to ask...

Yeah we can't wait. I have to assemble the FE gifts this week and start the packing too. My son has asking about the "barco de Mickey Mouse" which is Mickey Mouse's ship/boat in spanish. We keep telling him "El mes que viene" which is Next Month. We are excited and we hope to meet you guys.

9 day s until wdw then on to the cruise in 12 days until the cruise. This will be our 2nd cruise on disney, The first was last year on the magic to the keys, grand cayman, cozumel and castaway cay.:yay:

I believe the plan is deck 10 starboard overlooking the stage about 4pm or right after mandatory life drill.

We're down to only 10 days till our cruise everybody! Yippee!!
We leave next Thursday (wow -that's only a week from tomorrow) - driving 10 or 11 hours down I95!! Anyone found any good hotel deals for next weekend in cocoa beach area? priceline just says no-no-no to me and I've been trying for 2 weeks.
Everybody have a safe trip! See all of you on deck 10 at the cruise meet! We'll look for you Chuck!

I heard that we can bring our own alcohol on board. I also heard two different ways to bring it on board - one was on a board like this that said to pack it in a suit case and to carry that when we walk on. A person I met who cruised Disney last October said it needed to be carried in the open where they could see it...

Anyone know what the real answer is? I am coming on board with a 2 and 5 year old, and don't need to have to pack or unpack or repack while trying to board!

Thanks so much for the correct answer!!!

Adina

We are beer drinkers and usually just carry it out in the open while boarding. FYI, we are myself, Bill, DW Sandi and DDs Justine and Kimberly(23 &17). We are also scheduled for the Dream on 8/16/11.
