Hi all, really getting excited for August to get here.

Got our airline ressies the other day, so all I have to do now is wait for our docs to get here.

Marco/DGH, I figured the G stood for Grumpy. That describes my dh to a T!!!

Did not make brunch ressies, just dinner at Palo (did I spell that right?) I'm wondering if the last night of the cruise is really a good time for Palo. So much to do on that last night. What is everyone elses opinion on this?

See ya all soon.

I also have reservations for Palo for the last night of the cruise made them for 4 so Laura & Marco will be joining us, our reservation is at 8:30pm. I thank it will be great to spend our last night at Palo.

I also made a reservation for the Brunch for 10:30am everyone said the Brunch was wonderful so Wednesday the four of us will be eating all day long.

I didn't want to miss any of the other restaurants so the last night seemed the best, plus we can have a farewell party.

See ya soon
Beckie

Beckie, that was my feeling also, about not wanting to miss the other restaurants. Our ressies are for 8 PM. I'm hoping for a romantic table for two!! With kids, a table for two is few and far between.

I may rethink doing brunch. I've read such wonderful things about it.

Nina,

DGH (yes ... he is a Disney very Grumpy Husband) :groom: and I did Palo several times on previous cruises: you will simply adore that restaurant! :cake:

We found the servers to be very friendly and attentive, some of them are from Italy ... Palo is an Italian restaurant ... and we are Italian too :)
If you are looking for a romantic dinner, ask for a table for two near their BIG windows with splendid ocean views: you are going to have a gorgeous meal served just as the sun sets.
At Palo they serve outstanding food (from Northern Italy): Italian fish soup, risotto, grilled portobello mushroom and polenta , chocolate and hazelnut soufflé with vanilla sauce are our favorite choices. Enjoy!

We think it's a good idea to have dinner at Palo on the last night, it's a great way to say good bye ... or ... we will come back soon!

Good eye for detail, ::yes:: The photo was taken at the Beach Club on our Food & Wine Trip last November.

Beckie

Love the photo of you and DGH.

Laura, very nice pic of you and dgh. Thanks for sharing and I will keep a watch out for you come August.

I don't know how to post pics and my computer that has all my pics is disconnected waiting on house renovation to be finished. Hopefully, it will be done before August!!!

Oh, my oldest DD (17) is named Laura. Love the name.

Another question for you all, what time do you all plan on being at port? We usually get there around 11:00. Since we are land/sea, we don't have to ck in at port, just get in line. We always do a character breakfast the morning of the cruise. I have that scheduled for 8:00 AM. Will probably have limo pickup for around 9:30/10:00.

I think I'm worse than my kids, I'm so excited, don't think I can stand the wait. :hourglass

Nina

magic,

sure, we will connect that saturday night. i haven't planned anything yet. just the thought of relaxing and hanging out doing nothing sounds pretty awesome to me as well but i know i will probably do something. i already signed up my DD for the oceaners club. she is soooo excited. we keep watching the dvd that they sent.

have a great night.

Nina, what's the "meaning" of that T ?
As you might have guessed ... English isn't our first language ! :confused3

CIAOOOOOOOOO, Laura :flower:

HI, Bode !!! :cool1:

Just remembered that a friend of mine stayed at Radisson before their cruise on the Magic; she was travelling with DS 3 and DD 9.
Both kids had a wonderful time at the pool of that Radisson; it has, I guess, an EXOTIC theme, with ancient "ruins",water falls and "wild" animals (animatronics ?)... a very good spot to rest, play and DREAM :cloud9: about your cruise with Isabel !!!!

 Hi, Nina. We plan on being at port about 10.00 /10.30 ; we'll be coming from Universal studios ... maybe with a town car :smooth: IF we get our docs in a mannerly time !!!!
As we live in Italy and will leave at the end of July ... I'm not sure our docs will arrive ... in time !!!!! :sad2:

CIAO ! laura

Laura, by saying that "if fits to a T" means that it's a perfect description of something or someone.

We will be arriving via limo at port from the Polynesian. This is our favorite Disney resort and we have not stayed any where else while at disney.

What would happen if you didn't get your docs before you leave for your vacation? That would make me nervous. I do understand that you can print your docs from Disneys' website. Maybe that would be of some help to you.

Bode, I have never stayed at the radisson, but have read good reviews on the boards here about it. I think you and dd will enjoy it there.

Have a great day all.

Nina

So your a  Poly Lover hummm, I use to only stay at the Polynesian, then they built the Wilderness Lodge and I fell in love with the Lodge. I love staying in all the Disney Resorts but the Lodge is still #1 in my heart. I still haven't stayed in every Resort but I'm working on it about every fourth trip I'll book a resort we haven't stayed at for a few days.

I scheduled our shuttle from the Radisson for 10:00AM So I guess we should arrive at the Port around 10:30am :confused3

Bode

Have you scheduled your shuttle time yet?

CIAO Beckie

Beckie, I confess, I'm an absolute Poly lover. I've been tempted to try other resorts, but just feel so comfortable at the Poly. It's like being at home, I know where everythings is and how to get around. Besides, the convenience of the monorail can't be beat.

Is it August yet? :teeth:

Magic,

I had planned on just driving to the port and park there. i might decide different but this way i can just jump back in the car when we get back from the cruise unless we decide to fly down. i own a small plane and we might just fly in.if we do this then i will need to do the shuttle

WOW !!!!!!!!! Cool !!!!!!!!!! :cool1:
May I ask what plane do you own ? My father is very fond of each and every plane that has been built since WWII and also writes books on that matter ...
I'm just "curious" !!!!

It would be sooooooo cool for Isabel to actually FLY INTO HER WONDERful VACATION !!!!!!!!!!!! :wizard:

DGH and I flew over Grand Canyon on a small plane (it was a tour departing from Las Vegas) and had a great time !!!!
