Hi Scrawny! And everyone else I don't know what other people are planning but I am thinking about what to do in Barcelona. I have decided I want to get up to the castle fortress on Montjuic, but I am not sure how I will get my husband up there I don't think he would take kindly to the cable car.

There are a fair few of us who have settled accommodation for Barcelona, and I suggest that those who haven't do so at their earliest convenience... It seems hotel pricing just keeps going up!

Hi everyone, it's been a little while since I've read this thread or posted on here. I hope you're all excited and busy planning. I was just wondering whether I am missing anything major in regards to the FE over on Facebook? I don't have Facebook anymore and don't miss it but I'd hate to miss anything of importance going on over there as my DD is absolutely obsessed with the FE thing. Any of you that are on there, can you tell me if there's anything I need to know? Or whether it's just everyone merrily talking about their upcoming cruise?

Hi Lelalittlelegs... nothing new to report on anything, actually. You are signed up for the Fish extender already, right? I don't have time to check the link now. We were just talking about whether we would split the group at some point or when we would cut off, but no one has given any opinion on the matter yet. There will be more news, I suppose, as we get closer. To be honest, this is the quietest bunch I have ever encountered on a pre-cruise meet thread

Hey debsters41 - thanks for letting me know that I'm not missing out on too much. I agree that this is a pretty quiet roll call/FE (I am guilty of that, I am hoping life slows down a little soon) as on our last Disney cruise it was a struggle to keep up with what everyone was saying. If/when a decision is made on numbers or splitting the FE (yes, I am signed up to it) if someone could post that here, that would be great. Thank you!

I love the Rick Steves book... I read it at night before bed hoping to have dreams of Sorrento... It is very informative for people who want to do ports on their own. I also liked to listen to his audio podcast tours (free mp3) many times before the actual trip because it wasn't really feasible to listen to them while visiting.... My family thought I was so knowledgeable

I also read up on Cruise Critic message boards on the ports of call... I love 'planning' because I feel like I have been on vacation already these last few months.

Not got time to be excited - am in the final month of uni and am a little stressed! Work is also mad, trying to get rid of my jobs before I go off for surgery in April. Once that's all out the way, then I can get excited!!

Thank you. Am going to be off work 2-3 months, so hoping I'm going to be in a fit state to start getting on with my fish extender gifts. Need something to keep me busy or I'll go stir crazy, as cant drive for at least 6 weeks! No doubt I will be on here plenty as well!

Looking out into a backyard once again filled with snow, having broken the local record for number of days with lows below zero...

Our cruise is WAY too far away. lol

We're a bit too green to be doing ports on our own. I'm hoping the ones we want will still be available when we can book them, but it's so far away! Are we there yet?! I'm not sure who is more excited, me or the kids!

We booked our airfare, the first non-refundable part of the trip!

I think we'll have to skip the Palo brunch this time, there are 4 of us, but just from these boards and Facebook, I hope if we manage to pull off another cruise, that you are on it with us, Debsters41! We appreciate all you are doing and all your helpfulness.

Sorry don't know but do you know that you can get DCL to provide a transfer, $30/person?
