August 29th, 2010 - Wonder Cruise!

Hi everyone! This is my family's first cruise, and when I went to find the DisMeet thread, there wasn't one!

So now I've started one, and I'm off to look up what exactly a Fish Extender entails. ...there was a drum roll there, if no one heard it. En-tails! ......

Anyone else going, or thinking about it?

We just returned from a great 7 nights on the Disney Magic. We loved it so much we booked 4 nights on the Disney Wonder August 29, 2010. (That date also happens to be DH and my 12th wedding anniversary!)
Anyway, next June or so, I'd be happy to get to work on the FE list. The FE exchange on the Magic was great fun!
I hope the next 13 months go by fast!

We are still a long way from the cruise. I'm sure many more will join the fun! The FE exchange was great on the last cruise. Some of the gifts we got gave me some ideas for next time.

We just got off that as well and rebooked for next year!!! Hopefully we will keep these plans...last time we rebooked we ended up changing the date 3 times!! Look forward to sailing with you again!

Okay, here's another one going on the 29th!

We just returned from our first Disney cruise and rebooked while on board. Can't wait for next summer and more fun!
Would LOVE to join the FE list as well, as soon as there is one,

Hooray. I see more families have joined! We will be doing 4 days at Pop Century/WDW before boarding the Wonder. I hope we aren't sunburned! As for the FE list (yes, I'll make a spreadsheet next June), we are:

We will be in stateroom 7620. I can't wait!

Aww, if it's too much work, I'd be happy to do it. We'll see how many people are going, and if it's a lot, I don't want to put you up to all that.

As for us, we're in 8082 (I think... it might be 8036), and it will be 5 of us.

I already have my little ticker, and if that cruise ship ever moves, I'll be counting down the days!

We'll be at Port Orleans Riverside before we board... a new resort for us. There aren't that many rooms that can sleep 5.


And Dizneeat - welcome home! It must be weird to be back after a month away...

Hello eveyone .... It's not too early to start wishing for next August is it?? So there is myself, my daughter - age 9 (August 27) and my mom. Sign us up for the FE list, I had a great time running around the ship (we were on our first cruise on the Wonder August 23) leaving gifts at peoples doors ...

We too are staying the night before and after the cruise at the Caribean Beach Reort. Riverside is nice also. The pool is big.

Hooray! It's getting cold here in Michigan, so the thought of that warm air in the Bahamas will get me through a cold winter! The FE event was a blast last year. The list was well put together. It was sorted by cabin # so it made dropping gift off very easy! (And whoever left the bottle of rum at my door... please sign up for this cruise!)
Thus, when you know your cabin number, post it for the list. We did a meet-and-greet at the promenade lounge for those folks changing rooms due to an upgrade.

Thinking warm thoughts right now - we already had some snow! NOT my kinda fun!!
We sailed with another group last time and had a blast doing the FE exchange! We also had some meets which were fun - if there will be any on this cruise we will sign up for sure!
As for that FE list - we'll be in cabin 7058, the same cabin we stayed in last time!

Now, if time could just fly by and it were July already (need to get ready for my vacation, )

We live in the Netherlands and also sail on the 29st of aug 2010.
Before the cruise we stay at Miami and Disney's Saratoga Springs. After the Cruise Disney's Old Key West and we go to the Mickey's Halloween Party before we fly back home on sat. 4th of sept. This is our second disney cruise, the first was in 2007. We are 2 adults with our son of 10 years old.

Hello and happy new year.

My dh and I were on the Wonder last month and rebooked for this cruise. It will be me, my dd, my 6 yr old dgs and 9 yr old dgd. We have two cabins but I forget the numbers and I'm too lazy to look them up.

My dd and dgs were suppose to go this past August with me, my dgd and some friends of ours. She wound up in the ER the night before and had to have emergency surgery. My poor grandson went to bed thinking he was leaving for a Disney Cruise the next morning and woke to find he wasn't going anywhere and his mom was in the hospital. Hopefully he'll make it this time!

We will be staying at a Fort Wilderness cabin for a few days after the cruise.

I love talking on the meet threads and getting to know fellow cruisers.
