Since my DMIL will be in one of our connecting cabins does anyone know how to separate her charging privileges so that my 2 DD's will be on our account and not her's

It would be easy if I weren't giving the girls charging privileges

I just want to do it right before I print out the authorization page before we leave

My 10 yo John is staying with my stepson Jason next door. I was able to put go into Jasons reservation and put John on my CC, Jason is putting his wife and himself on his own cc. As long as you have access to both reservations and they are linked, it's a relatively painless process. I think when I put in my cc info for our room, it asked if there was anyone from the other cabin that I wanted to give charging privledges to, so I clicked on Johns name. We did this last trip too, and I got my sons charges and my sil got her charges, no problems, all done before the trip! Hope this made sense, sometimes I tend to ramble.

Also, a couple of weeks ago someone posted that they are in the process of changing the washers on the Magic and seem to be doing one laundry room at a time. They are now $2 a load and take your KTTWC instead of quarters. At the time of the post, I think they said 2 of them had been updated, can't remember which ones, I think one was on deck 7, and I only remember that because that is the one I would use. I'm sure by the time we get on, all will be updated. Just wanted to mention it in case anyone was getting their quarters ready! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2201985

All of my group's rooms are linked. So I checked like you described and I can separate my DD's from my DMIL

Now I have to talk to my CFO a.k.a wife about what card to put the charges on.

Great posts. I looked at the FEs on ebay, that helped me start to figure out mine. I went and got fabric, now I just need to figure out how to put it together.

Laundry, I was really really hoping to not do any, but I think that will be impossible with staying another day after the cruise (due to plane schedules, we are going to go to Kennedy Space Center). Looks like our deck (6) may or may not use the card. At DVC I usually do some laundry every night and pack for only 3 days, I am so spoiled! On the cruise we are out later and busier though.

Great idea to mail a package. I may do the same, but to my parents house since we are going their for a week first.

We meet in the Promenade Lounge.

Yes, kids were there. It's an open seating area nice for everyone.

Mostly it was woman, the men were up at the pool with the kids.

We met at 3 p.m., that gave us time to gab and make muster. The rooms were open by then so we could change clothes.

Before the sail away party or after? I'm thinking before, so that would be around 3:30 I guess. 4 is the muster right? Then Sail away, then right to dinner. Or will we have time between Sail away and dinner to change? This should all still work with a 3pm meet

Meeting at 3 has worked well in the past. People taking DCL buses don't arrive until 2 or 2:30. We chat for 45 minutes, grab the family, head to muster, then to the sail away party. I would change for dinner after the party. It can get pretty hot and sunny on deck. You don't want to stink up the dinner table.

I'm glad to hear that too, as my dh would also not be into it! Last cruise we all ordered neon green wristbands from ebay so we could recognize each other in the terminal and on the ship, dh didn't want to wear one, he is not a big talker(he says he talks enough at work), of course I make up for his not talking!

Would this also be a good time for the kids to meet? I know that my DD is looking forward to meeting some of the kids at the start of the cruise. It makes it easier when she sees them in the club to have already met them

I like the idea of the meet as a time for the kids to meet. I will bring dd 10 then if others will be there. She is the one who needs to see familiar faces.

Great point about changing after the party. I forgot about the heat as last time we went in Feb. An August cruise will be totally different heat wise!
