When we booked our cruise, all that was available was late dining. I asked our DU agent to watch for main dining to become available. Got an email from her yesterday that main dining is available and she switched us. I'm happy about this because I just didn't want to wait until 8:00 to eat. The teen activity my boys are most looking forward to (Pump it Up - work out time in the fitness center for teens) is around 9:00 p.m. so they'd either miss dinner or their workout. Just wanted to post this in case anyone else has late dining and was hoping for early.

We had a bit of a problem on the last cruise with her going, but if I can help her make some friends she will be fine. (She was 8 and wound up going down a group to be with her brother).

I wish I knew you were all here for so long! I would have been totally into it. I did sign up for FE, trying to read back a lot of posts, and figure out how that all works. Last cruise I used all the tips from the disboard but never visited the meet part. We had our son we had just adopted 4 months before, and he had surgery right after that, and still wasn't himself. We were pretty much on survival mode, but we still had a great time and said 4 nights wasnt enough and rebooked

I know there are at least 4 8- 10 yo girls on the FE list, don't know if any of them are chatting before the cruise, I only have boys, 1 is 10 and loves going to the clubs. Maybe one of the moms of the girls can get with you about a chat with the girls before the cruise.

I understand about the kids being shy at first. K definitely was, but then once the ice was broken, she fit in just fine. In fact, on our last cruise, she wanted to stay in the club more than hang out with us!

Kayleigh has been emailing a girl from this board, and I know that girl has been emailing a girl from England who will be on this cruise too. They are all around the same age too. Your daughter will have great fun.

Super!! My daughter will be almost 9 when we come, and I'm sure they'll all get along great! We have not told the kids yet, so I hate that my daughter is missing out on the emailing. She LOVES email! LOL!

Hmmm.... I've got to debate this with myself.

At least I know she'll want to come away from the cruise with email addy's to keep in touch. She still keeps in touch with one girl she met on our last Disney Cruise. It's so sweet!

We have someone who I believe works at for a TV station on our cruise who is keeping us all updated on the weather. TVEPFOX will be watching the weather for us keeping us all updated!

I decided to repost this in case anyone else wanted to join. We are taking names until June 21st to fully join the FE. That means you will deliver to all cabins, and they will deliver to you. After the 21st we can still take your name until Aug 9th, the agreed upon final cutoff date. Those giving their names after June 21st will be listed in green on the list. We want to give everyone the Disney experience of the FE, but some people have made/ordered things and may not have enough for families that joined late. If you join after the 21st, you may not get a delivery from all the families involved. I know some have pm'd me that they would have extra, but we can't guarantee how many would. Below are directions to join as well as a link to see what the FE looks like.

I would be happy to track the people interested in doing the FE. If you are interested in participating in the FE for our cruise, please PM me so I can keep it straight. Please let me know your names, ages, and if you know yet, your cabin number. If you do not have enough posts to pm me, just put the info in the thread, I usually check in every day!

If you need to know what a FE is, it is a pouch that hangs off of the fish outside your door. People that have decided to participate will deliver some sort of gift on their assigned day, and leave it in your pouches, then on your assigned day, you will deliver to everyone else's pouches. There are pictures of FE's and the examples of the gifts on the main cruise boards at http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1219607&highlight=fe+gifts.

We have decided to do a one time delivery each. The post below contains both the families participating and the day of the week you are assigned to deliver. If there is a certain day you would like to deliver, please let me know. I will grant requests in the order I receive them. If I don't hear from some families by the end of July, I will pm them to make sure they are still going and still want to participate. I try to check in on this thread every day or two.

We changed to 2 rooms now so the new # are 5629 and 5631. We will have a FE on both doors for the girls so people can do a drop in either throughout the trip. Figured it would be fair for the girls to each have their own.

We are traveling with DCL to the port.

I agree you do get there later, but there are no crowds. Disney times it well no lines.

However, I would love to get to the port earlier. It cuts into the time you get on board the first day and usually one buffet is closing.

If anyone would like to share a car/van service we would be interested.

Welcome oboard!!! I'll sorry, we'll be staying at HRH prior to the cruise. We've rented a car and will be using that to get to the port.

This is a last call of sorts to join the FE group. You will have until Sunday, 6/21 to pm me (if you don't have enough posts to pm just post it in this thread) if you would like to join with full participation. That is a just about a week after the 75 day mark when final payments are due. After the 21st you will still be able to join, but your name will be in a different color on our list signifying that you joined late. At that point, you may not receive something from everyone on the list, (I have heard from several that say they have extra, so you will get something, just can't guarantee how much) as some people need to order and make things and may not have enough for late comers.

Once again, I just wanted to send out an advance notice to the date full participation would be closed out, and to let any late comers know that if you would like to join in the fe experience, you would still be able to do that. The date we have chosen to stop taking participants of anykind is Aug 9th.

The current list is on p 62 post 923. I will post a new copy on the 22nd with the finalized full participation list, after that I will update it only if someone else joins.

Yes, we're very interested in sharing a car, plus we both have 7 DD. I've never used a car/van before so I'm not really sure. But, I'm sure we can figure it out. I hope it's cheaper than DCL bus service.

I think it should be cheaper than DCL bus service with 6 of us. IF you DD is interested in exchanging information with mine, I'm sure we can work something out. We were thinking we would go back to DW after the cruise for a couple of hours before our flight, don't know what your plans are. But we are flexible.
