August 25 2012

Our check in time is 11-1130. We like to be one of the first on the ship if possible. I just noticed you are from Norwood. We are from Weymouth:goodvibes

We have the same check in time. We were happy we were able to get an early time. Wow so close to each other we live.

I just saw that you are celebrating your 10th anniversary. We are also celebrating our anniversary on the 26th.

Congratulations on the Anniversaries! Our Anniversary is on the 26th, too. We will be celebrating with dinner at Remy at 6:30.

I just searched past posts and realized all 3 couples are on the 26th. 10 years, 22 years and 40 years. What are the odd of that happening and all of us being on DIS and on the same cruise at the same time?:goodvibes

FE List Update:

Missy noticed that I had erroreously listed Laurenza (Patricia1) as a "DS" instead of a "DD" so I updated that.

There are 3 staterooms that do not list favorite character: Disneydonnam, kymickeyfan717, and Minie meese

The only other updates will be for the stateroom number of the GTYs reservation which are expected out shortly. Historically, from my experience, they come out around the 30 day mark.

I wonder if we will see the Dream while we are at Castaway Cay since they will be on their Sea Day:confused3

It is not that unusual. We were on CC at the end of a 7 Western on the Magic over Thanksgiving in 2005 when the Wonder decided to come by during its sea day. Everybody on CC grabbed their cameras, it was a great sight to see and the best "horn war" EVAR! :thumbsup2

Now that I think of it I have video of that day, I am going to have to dig it up. Maybe even post it on our FB page.

We are staying in Rodney Bay. We are looking forward to good sun and good food:)

We were at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian in October for our 15th wedding anniversary. We took the Simon Says Tour and just had the most amazing time. I think it is the prettiest island I have ever been to. And the food is really good.

Wow! So lucky! Have a great trip!

Can't believe August will be starting next week. :dance3:

Yikes! :scared: FE is calling me.....

Four years ago we took a trip to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico and while we were there, we got a chance to see the Magic in port at Puerto Vallarta:cool1:

You are lucky! I lived in Mexico as a teen, saw no ships, as I lived in Mexico City. When I sailed the Monarch, DCL wasn't born yet. We went in and out of San Juan, and because of a blizzard, saw more of that city than we had expected. Long, funny, and pixie dusted trip. Remember seeing Carnival ships during that cruise. We had to tender in St. M as it was a NYE cruise and the ports were crowded.

So hoping we sail on the Fantasy with a much less full ship. :thumbsup2

And thanks Pudo for the spreadsheet. Getting my FE treats slowly in order. Going to try to print out some pictures to make into magnets.

Have a great week-end everyone!! :)

Off to Orlando for a week. When we come back it will be three weeks until the cruise ... :cool1:

and I cant believe countdown is now under 30 days

Just booked on Monday, I love doing these last minute vacations!
I'm so excited as this is my DH first Disney cruise experience, we are bringing our 8 year old granddaughter (her 2nd DC)! I know this is crazy but we are celebrating our 33rd wedding anniversary on 8/25...everyone thought it was silly to bring our GD but we are emptynesters and are with each other 24/7 so having Gigi with us gives us joy! We actually got dinner reservations for the first night to celebrate and I know from the last Disney cruise I took my GD on we had a lot of free time. Anyone else here in their mid-50"s that are bringing their grandchildren?
