Through DCL, we booked Megan's Bay on St. Thomas and the Butterfly Farm on St. Martin. I know we could do something cheaper on our own, but I like the non-hassle of having DCL handle it for me. Plus, I tend to freak out about getting back to the ship on time...letting DCL take care of things for me allows me to relax.

For those asking about the FE numbers, as I understand it, we were kept at one group and did not divide. There are 37 total cabins/families (my own included). There is only one spreadsheet, that was done by Pudo. His spreadsheet contains all the cabins/families that are signed up, and the FE sign up list is now closed.

I bought my FE stuff over the weekend and now have to assemble it by cabin. Not sure when that is going to happen...we keep getting invitations to things, bbq's, birthday parties, etc. It's nice to be busy with friends and family in the summer, but it kind of doesn't leave much down time to get things done.

Yes. Around 3, location yet to be determined. I also proposed a group photo on the atrium staircase, Pirate night around 7:30 usually is a good time. Shutters charges around $75 for a "sitting" fee.

On our way to Sesame Place today. Visited Busch Gardens/Water Country over July 4th, bought a 2 year Platinum pass. For those who don't know Sesame is part of the Busch park family.

Anyone else dressing up for Pirate Night? I have been working on DH & my outfits today. Just have to finish his pants and make a long vest for him.

How would you divide the sitting fee? PP or by family?

Just have to go down to pick them up. (He likes to go over everything, even though he knows I know it. Just makes him feel that he is doing his job.)

I'm with you on that one!! DH isn't convinced he will like being on a ship with a lot of people, and having a less crowded ship for his first cruise may mean there will be a second...

It's so great to see the luggage tags and the things we booked. I really like the cute book it is.

The list on page one has your info on it that you sent in March, we did put up lots of revised lists for the FE asking for any changes that needed to be made before we closed it in June. I am really sorry if you missed them. We have closed the exchange now, but everyone is invited to the get together!

Okay I completely understand. This is our first Disney cruise and first FE experience. We moved from Virginia to New Jersey during that time and I checked back to the front page every now and then, but really didn't have time to go through all the threads. It's unfortunate it was never listed on the front page that we had to sign up twice or e-mailed to us. I will now have to explain it to my 6 year old daughter that her mom messed up and we can't be a part of the fun. I will post a separate request to everyone to see if there are any other people that missed your list that want to start a separate list. Who knows maybe it will work out after all. She even designed her FE herself and we ordered it last Friday. She helped pick out all the gifts as well. Not sure what to do with 40 Mickey soaps..ugh. Again, we just moved so it has been really really hectic settling in with a new job, new state and a new house. Guess it was too much.

So I am not getting the mom of the year award this year for sure!! I messed up and missed the cut off for the original FE exchange list that was created. I was hoping there may be a few people that also missed that list who wants to join me to carry on this great exchange for our families. Even if there are only a few of us at least our kids will be able to get a few items. I am planning a way to secretly put items in our FE each day so she doesn't miss out, but having a few extra cabins would be fun too. If I don't get anyone that is totally okay just wanted to try it out. Feeling pretty crappy that I missed the deadline for sure!! Too many moving pieces with the move and getting a 6 year old settled. If we keep the gifts general then we can add up until a few days before the cruise. I don't mind organizing it for us. Let's just say...we need this cruise for sure!! Have a great afternoon!

Thank you for being so understanding, please post your cabin #, I am going to pop something into your FE for your daughter and I am sure there are others from the group that could squeeze out one more gift. We had a long discussion a couple of weeks back about the Exchange being officially close so I really couldn't add you, but like I said I am pretty sure some gifts will find there way to your FE, so please let us know your cabin #.

I think a lot of FE participants have already ordered their gifts and it will be too late for them to join officially. BUT there is nothing to say that those of us who can still get gifts for this family can hand them out to them. I am pretty sure there will be many of us who will add them in unofficially

It's our first DCL cruise, and my kids first time cruising, and our first time at FE. Though I may not have a family gift, with a DD of my own, I am sure we can give yours a FE gift. Could you let me know if she likes princesses or Tink or Minnie, or another character?

Seriously sitting on the train home from NYC about to cry! You are all so kind. Absolutely...please do not get my mother or I anything. If you have any extras and want to drop her off something that is amazing and completely unexpected. She is into everything princess, but I will tell you she will enjoy anything. Of course she loves to be surprised. I will still bring the FE gifts we got so she can deliver them. Just half the fun and I don't need all those things. I just feel so bad I messed it up. At least she will never know!!! !! Cannot thank you all enough. She is a social butterfly so we will crash the meet and greet for sure. Thanks again and have a good night!
