Welcome! Curious question. Were you able to a get a Florida resident rate?

Hello Everyone,

Just got back from Dallas, TX:) It was strange to hear that earlier this week it was warmer in Philly than Dallas:scared1:

My youngest DD daughter conned me into getting another American Girl doll and she hasn't put her down yet;)

While in Dallas, a friend of mine told me that his family will be going on their first DCL cruise on the Dream August 15th:thumbsup2

I tried not to tell them much because I want them to experience their first cruise through fresh eyes.

was just on the DCL site and it looks like they still have rooms in a lot of categories left...would be nice not to have a sold out ship less crowds for everything I wonder if it has to do with school either starting or getting ready to start and the Dream must not be sold out either for the end of August they actually are offering FL resident rates for it

Hi Jeff,
Do you know what post your Excel spreadshet is on? I want to print an updated copy. Also do you know how many cabins are in the final count for the fe?
Thanks,
Kim

Hey Kim,

The spreadsheet is on my website. I'll write out the link - http://jeffreylangdon.com/disneyCruise0825FEList.xlsx - so you can copy and paste it into your favorites for future reference. We are mostly missing stateroom numbers from the GTYs which I will update as they are announced.

Jeff

We got a discounted rate, otherwise would not have been going right now. We are on GTY status for an inside stateroom. Just so excited and overwhelmed. I usually have a year to plan! lOL! We have cruised many times, but this is our first on the Fantasy!

Just wondering if everyone has done there on line check in and got there port arrival time this is something new to us since our last Disney cruise...we got 12:00-12:30 that was the first available...Ron's disappointed he's like a kid on xmas morning :yay: the day we set sail and likes to be there at opening but thankfully we are only an hr behind that.....

Got our cruise doc today!

Fantastic day, Ferrari Challenge day at Lime Rock Park and dinner with my lovely wife taking the 'new to me' convertible :drive:

Still haven't heard anything from AAA about our Documents. Usually I can find something out on UPS.com, but it is showing in their system with no further details. Hopefully next week.

At least the weather has gotten better. It's much cooler now since it rained and the rain has finally let up. Riding my motorcycle it feels like I have the airconditioning on instead of feeling like I just stepped out of a warm shower by the time I get to work. Only missed one day of riding this week because of the rain. I ride to work as long as it isn't raining when I leave. If it's wet when it's time to come home it's only a 5-10 minute ride & I change when I get home. We have been riding almost every week day since the middle of January because of the mild winter. I have a windshield on my new bike & was able to ride even when it was down in the 30s. Just dressed with lots of layers. DH has a 30 minute ride to work & he was riding too. With the price of gas this year, having a mild winter & being able to ride has really helped to save some money. If we had had to use the cars all winter, we would be broke.:goodvibesJK (but it sure did help the budget. More money for the cruise):thumbsup2

What excursions have you planned for St. Maarten & St Thomas? Did you book through DCL or independent? Have to have a garage sale to pay for our excursions, now that I added my son (thus using up my extra spending money:eek:).

Everything is all things Disney for me lately. Especially since getting out docs the other day. I am starting to not be able to handle how excited I am getting. I started to realize just how close we are:dance3::dance3:

Is anyone else planning on staying at the Radisson at the port on the Friday night before we set sail?

DCL with buck/honeymoon islands snorkel tour in St. T and independent for St. M. We are so looking forward. Bought all of us new snorkels and fins. Not fond of sharing a snorkel.

I should have a sale. Must budget for the tours and tips for all, and well, some extras too! :woohoo:

Liking our much more reasonably warm day. Rain was mostly gone in one day.

Oh, and funny, my kids get to the mail before DH or I. When they saw the little package the other day, they didn't open it, and when I did, my DS asked, very casually, that's for our cruise, right? Well yes it is!! And we have a blank and a TBA for a cabin right now. Wondering what one we will be assigned, and when.:)

Somehow, I've managed to keep the cruise a secret for over a year, too. I was so glad I got the mail myself when those docs arrived a few days ago. They did notice a few Mickey items have been showing up around the house lately, a t-shirt here, some Mickey ears crafting supplies there, but I don't think they have a clue about a cruise coming...

-Suzanne

p.s. We're practically neighbors- we're just over in Cortlandt Manor...
